Ditto. In fact, they purged all references to my order from their web site...it doesn't even show up anymore. Now I just hope they didn't charge my card.

2 orders canned, one order got through and got shipped.

Now, how long before they remove the authorization on my cc? If they can take the time to track down my order and cancel it, they sure as heII can remove the credit card authorization too!

I agree 100%. Was checking my balances online and it was throwing me big time. Then I added in the two that got trashed

Mine is in the mail as of the 17th. Guess I got lucky, or the $200 amount did not raise any flags.

First they sent me an email apologizing for the delay (payment confirmation said it would be shipped the 16th), now I just got an email that said the card has been shipped.

Was it just me or did the site not have any shipping options?

Whoa...they cancelled both of my orders (but I only received one cancellation email) - and then today a $100 gift card shows up!

I'm definitely going to be keeping an eye on my CC statement.

This is SO WEIRD!!!. My order was cancelled. I got the cancellation email. I check my account on Target.com and I do not see my order at all. I guess they delete it out of their system.

Yet today!!, I got the Target Card. I am thinking I bet it has 0 dollars. Well I check the credit and there is 100 dollars GC. I check my Credit Card nothing was charged... What is going on?? Did I get a free card?

Because the order does not show on my order history, can they charge me? can I dispute it with my credit card if they try? I got the cancellation Email. I think I should go to Target and use the card now.

i've received the cancelation email, but my order page still hasn't been updated or cancelled. delivery was supposed to be between the 22nd and the 24th, so maybe i'll see something.

i've still been sending target my usual love letters about this. i think we're meant to be:|

Well now, I got the notice below after complaining that nothing was on the target site about the order any more. They stated all orders were cancelled that had promotional codes as giftcards cant be used for them. Hope some of you have it in your hands otherwise I doubt you will get it.

Thank you for contacting target.direct, your direct link to target.com, fields.com and mervyns.com.

You should have received an e-mail notification that this order was cancelled because we are unable to accept promotional codes toward the purchase of GiftCards.

A temporary error caused our order form to accept promotional codes for an order that was not eligible.

Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience this has caused.

I understand how frustrating this must be for you. Unfortunately target.direct is unable to make an exception to our policy regarding the use of promotional codes.

yeah, i got the same email. i'm emailed back my opinions about the whole thing, & how even though their was a supposed error & all these coupons were being accepted, there were still 2-3 coupons that were not being accepted. if i don't here from them, i'll try to speak with a couple managers about the cs reps lying through their teeth.

Well guys I am going tomorrow morning and spend the GC on anything. I wanted to save it for something I would actually want/need. But the way I see it, betta use it now or loose it.

This is just so strange. My CC was never charged.
