Nope, tried that, emailed them and they don't want anything to do with retail versions, which sucks to be honest.

EDIT: tried this long time ago trying to activate it on steam in case i lost the disk but yeahhh...

come on, people, they're trying to promote their own service. this is kind of a previous customer reward, not a willy-nilly $10 off upgrade for everyone deal.

it would be nice if they'd offer it to everyone, but bitching about it endlessly is unwarranted IMO.

who the hell is bitching? In no way in my post was I bitching. I said it was unfortunate but a great deal nonetheless.

I'm happy I got the $2 Stalker:SoC, even though I have the Dvd copy as well. Have the dang thing installed three times as it is, with different conversion mods in each. Made a nice surprise, and indeed, I would have waited for Pripyat if this deal hadn't shown up.
