I've decided to burn them all at 8x in both my nec 3540a burner, did a speed test, quality test and it's decent. Maybe the quality vary from disc to disc, so always verify it to insure a perfectly good burn.

This is a poorly implemented store based on OSCommerce. It's open source software and I do believe they are violating terms of the EULA by removing the OSCommerce footer.

I say poorly implemented because once you accept the expired SSL cert, graphics are not displayed properly. A simple fix for this is to copy the graphics file to the secure directory and modify the absolute path.

I see valid 6/20/1999 to 6/20/2020, its probably a bug in ms windows. the connection is still secured as you see the lock at the bottom right screen. I do not run this site or affiliated with them in anyway. Just a consumer running around telling others whats cheapest.

well i took the chance and ordered. got fedex tracking number right away and they came as expected. seem to be ok. they get verify errors but the movies that i have been backing up still play just fine.

definitely a shoe string budget operation, the dvds came in a USPS box turned inside out (theft from a government agency) but they came and work as expected.

bottom line, good deal on cheap media to backup movies i dont really care about.

i believe most are on a shoe string budget like myself due to a crash in economy since year 2k. why spend more just to have a cool brand name that are not 100 percent perfect still. there is always a little defects maybe 1-2 out of 50 batch even on the best quality media. for me having more to burn and paying less makes me feel good.

i'm surprised this deal lasted this long. haha. maybe the cheapest media in the whole wide world. dont forget that 99 percent of products come from china whether you like it or not. now if only i can buy a new car from china for around 5k, it would definitely make my day driving the cheapest car on this planet. so the trick to living a luxury life is not making more money but spending less. kind of like adapting to the environment.

They are selling the same 4x media for 58.00 for customers who are new to their site and unaware of this special deal so yes this is hot compared to any other dvd medial deals.

They never seem to get the date right, "This product was added to our catalog on Tuesday 30 November, 2032." oh well.

I will only buy from them cuz I am saving lots of money and media still works great even for the last 6-8 months of storage.
The media 8x I bought from techgeeks.com mid: AML 002 was no better infact worse, it would burn at 4x most of the times when they had this special deals at 29.99 for 200. It is run by Korean or Chinese out of their kitchen sink, they cannot compete.
Why pay more for brand names when unbranded are just as good? Don't get sold on advertising bs, don't think that more expensive is always better. What do you have to lose?

price for dvd media have risen within the last years, the lowest that is advertised is 38.00 shipped from compcdr and yesbuy.net, their rating are much worse then shopampm. 75% positive for shopampm vs them 51 and 52 percent positive. even at this low price some are afraid to buy, they think it's all junk. well one man's junk is another man's treasure? it seem like they have limited this deals to only secret customers lol. its no longer advertised on the internet, not easily found. they are not making much on this so they don't want to sell too many at this price.
the media from shop4tech are 4x dvd-r and is 42.00, it's hard to find dvd+r for low prices theseday. +r have better longetivity and better error correction algorithm. I burn them all at 8x flawlessly, there maybe a few out of batch of 50 that the quality is below 90 but it was usuable still. cdfreaks.com is your friend, those guys are nuts about firmware modification and you can mod just about any brands of burner including liteon, nec, pioneer, samsung, sony, plextor, btc, lg, benq, phillips.
