STAPLES $20 off $100 Savings Card

Just got a $20 of $100 "Savings Card " via SnailMail from Staples. I can only *ASS*ume they got my name/address,etc. , from all the MANY rebates I've sent in from all the hot deal posted here.
Keep an eye on your SnailMail Box for it. This should help make Black Friday an even better day.

Can you use these with rebates?
Because rebate conditions in staples have something like:

"cannot be combined with other rebates, offers or promotions"

Anyone had any problems before?

I think Staples is getting smarter. Read the fine print on the back of the card - the "not valid with any other coupon or item to which an instant savings discount applies"

...or something to that effect.

The usage of coupons just became a "YMMV"

That's nothing new. The coupons/cards have always said that.

I got one today. This is the 3rd one I've ever received. Last month I got 3 coupons in the mail from OD ($17 off $100, $15 off $100 and $20 off $100).

I recently got a $50 Staples certificate from AMEX because I converted 5000 points. When I ordered this certificate, it specifically said it could not be used with other coupons, etc, etc. I tried it anyway with a $30 off $150 coupon that Staples e-mailed me. It went through just fine. I ended up getting 256MB DDR, 60GB Maxtor drive and a USB 2.0 card reader for $28 after coupons and $50 in rebates. The sweetest part of the deal was that Ebates listed my purchase as $154, which was the price before $80 in coupons were applied. So I ended up with almost $3 in ebates. And don't forget free shipping.
