I got one rebate and must say this has been slower than using the mail in rebates...no more easy rebates...only mail in till they get the system smoother

I sent in rebates for $170 a week before my father sent his. He received his check one week before I got mine.

Because of the TEON fiasco, I had called a Staples CSR before we submitted our rebates. I was assured the system would see two TEON DVD packs on each submission and not to worry.

Both him and I only received back a check for $15 for one of the TEON?s. That really pisses me off since they HAD to know about it weeks and weeks ago and yet chose to not fix the system before the checks were sent.

A trip to the store met with zero resistance, the manager was happy to fillout some special secret form which he said in essence bypassed the system and would cause the two $15 checks owed to us to be generated and mailed. We will see.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I have always rated Staples rebates amongst the highest of any I have ever used. Checking back we have submitted well in excess of 350 between us with a problem only one other time under the old system


As far as the Easy Rebate System, I give it a 4 and only because it is nice to not have to send mail and because the speed of the rebate is very good.

Otherwise, I give it a big friggin fat zero. Like I told the CSR I find the idiot moron who developed the site I?ll slap them silly. Those damn cryptic ass messages which have no explanation at all are ridiculous. I want back the useful info I used to receive from the old site.

Got my rebates! Woohoo! Hm... I'll ahve to check about the TEON problem, though, as I also bought a bunch of TEON stuff.

My check for my HD has been mailed. So I figure it took about 6 weeks to get. It was worth it getting the drive for $45 or whatever.

I just got my rebates for the Teon DVDs, Wireless router, and the DVD Burner. No problems and no phone calls required. Maybe they like me because I'm always dropping in there to buy $100 toner cartridges for work.

Got all my rebates too, based on when I sent them through the website and when I got them, it was pretty painless, not like the batch I had just sent out for Fry's and Best Buy

Is anyone who purchased the $49 chair willing to scan me a copy of the receipt?

One of the casters on my chair broke, and i need the receipt for the warranty claim.

I purchased this chair on BF, but did not save the receipt because no rebate was involved.

In case anyone still hasn't received their "easy" rebate, the telephone number for the rebate center is (877) 549-9794.

My rebates for the HD and the Teon disks were stuck in the "Validation in Progress" state.
The CS rep said there was a problem when the data was uploaded and had to re-enter them.
Supposedly I will now be receiving them in 4-6 weeks from NOW. Hopefully sooner.

Bummer....sorry you had to wait so long......but at least they didn't deny them or anything! (My attempt at a glass half full mentality... )

I just called them today, and I had the same EXACT problem. I was on the phone for 30+ minutes while the girl re-entered everything. I also had a $40 rebate due me from a Belkin 802.11g router, which I had purchased online 3 days later, and she had to re-enter everything there too. :disgust:

I had the same problem, though I got them to correct it via e-mail, didn't have to call. Pretty reliable as long as you stay on them about the rebates.
