For those of you who are bummed that you can't get in on the deal, don't worry, nextel kind of sucks, at least here in SoCal. There is absolutely no comparison between Sprint or Cingular service and coverage compared to Nextel (I don't mean customer service 'cuz Sprint CS is the worse). We have Nextel at work and have them in all our vehicles. Oftentimes, I rather use my own Sprint phone and my minutes rather than deal with poor reception and coverage with Nextel. The only thing I like about the phone is the speaker phone feature.

I would not get nextel (except with a deal like this)

Nextel is great here in boston!
If you really wanted to work at staples for that, i usually only work there on sundays (time and a half) and i fill in when im around and someone calls out.
Its good for some of the employee promos!

i worked at nextel for 6 months as an intern. everyone in the building got a free phone. even the trashman!!!
absolutely no billing. use the cell to call anywhere, anytime. u get the full features of everything... direct connect, paging, instant messaging, email accoount, web surf, the whole nine yard. once i use their phones n services, other fones just plain sux. the dc service...wow!

Umm... yes. but they do have a deposit system ($500!!!) if you're not squeaky clean. I have Nextel service in Atlanta and except for when my last phone crapped out (I don't think I was supposed to drop kick the phone), I have had no problems. The service is as good or better than the others out there.

i have a friend that works at COMPUSA, and he also told me about this deal just yesterday! i asked him if he could hook me up with the i90c and he told me they can't order it somehow but they can get me any other phone. so i'm getting the i85s which is the one step lower. $10/month i can't go wrong with that!
