Anyone know if the Buslink rebate is a Staples rebate or mfr? I see dozens of posts on Buslink themselves being extremely painful on getting their rebates. I realise the ad says Staples MIR, but is that for certain a Staples rebate?

It's 12:30 am and the website will NOT accept their coupon for the Canon s750 printer! What gives? Do I have to order on PST? I'm on the east coast.

I bought the Canon and also the Minolta laser printer the other day just so I didn't have to deal with trying to place an order online. I never have good luck when I try that. Always when I buy it first, then pricematch.

Staples has some weird $10 coupon for that modem... I guess that's the $10 IR ... but the coupon code isn't be accepted.... hmm

Damn I hate staples!! I'm on the phone with them right now trying to get my prices adjusted. Canon was no problem since it was an instant rebate. The Minolta on the other hand is giving me some drama. I just went through on CSR, supervisor and soon the manager.

I just got back from two different Staples. Scored the liteon versions for both drives. Two scanners, a can'o air and the cds. Total after rebates will be around $14.

If anyone is interested, the burlington, ma store had about 8 drives and they all seemed to be the smartburn, ie liteon versions. The woburn, ma store on washington had about 8 when I got there and 4 when I left. Only 2 of the remaining 4 were smartburn. They might have more of the drives in back, but they were all on tables in the front of the store so that every customer would see them when they walked in.

My local B&M had the Lite-ons. About a dozen were on a big table right when you walk in, along with all the other FAR stuffs.

$50 coupons appear to be a NO GO now. A couple of my friends tried twice each and the CSR's are saying all $50 coupons require a FAXED copy of the original now.

I got the Minolta 1250w, and FAR surge protector over the phone. Used the $50 off $200 (from heavypurse). All comes to $60 AMIR! w00t!

BTW, I wanted the service plan on the printer, but they couldnt offer it over the phone i guess. So the lady told me that some supervisor is going to be contacting me about it.

I dont expect much from this thing, so I think its a good idea to get the service plan. I know the 2 year is $30, but you can extend it later, and they will fix the printer for you. Its going to cost $30 to send it to minolta anyways, why not add a year to the warnty and have staples to it at your convinionce.

I say, get the plan!
