Debunking involves proof to the contrary. Right now we have PROOF of reviews with direct quotes from that article before its release. They have debunked nothing. It just so happens their skype interviews are word for word what's on Glassdoor? Please.

Where's the redacted email traffic evidence? Beyond the interviews, where is any evidence of anything? BTW, your quote is held for posterity and we'll revisit the issue after Citizencon and at the end of the year on server status.

I bought into a game that's being developed, I know there is a sizable chance it will not turn out as I expect. I did not buy with any monies that are important to me so I really don't care how the game gets done, there are working modules that are possible to play. I'm happy with that.
If you can't or don't want to spend the money now then don't. Trolling around with constant negative news is not helpful, I understand its fun to be right and people posting negative crap want to be right that's not odd but it is odd to continually post negative stuff in this thread. Set up a new thread, state your case and let buyers decide.

Nope. She's done an excellent job as far as I'm concerned. As the sole marketing employee they've raised $90 million and done a great job with community outreach.

Why does it matter that she is CR's wife? Was there another more qualified applicant that you know of that he turned down? She has several degrees and speaks several languages. That combined with her performance is fine with me.

Again, not a problem. Her subsequent responses laid it to rest comfortably for me. If you're uncomfortable, get a refund and buy it when/if it releases. I'm fine with them holding my humble but sizable donation. And I'm not done yet.

Yes, I can add, but I also at least have a fundamental understanding of how project accounting works. Star Citizen is funded by backers, not Chris Robert's business entities. He could run a thousand other non-related projects with his company and not use a dime of backer funds. This would be absolutely typical of a normal business.

I'm not saying she is or isn't doing it. I don't make verdicts without evidence, because I don't believe in making public accusations based on gossip.

If she is, I hope she gets busted, and for that matter, if Chris Roberts is misappropriating funds, I hope he gets busted as well. My excitement for the game doesn't cloud my judgement for what can and does go on when large sums of money is involved. I'll let auditors determine that, not internet armchair business experts.

You know, I think the big surprise from that group is the Merlin. I love that little ship. I've seen enough of them take out Hornets in BR to know that with the right pilot they're a competent fighter, too (and d*mn hard to hit).

That said, I think it could be improved significantly with a good balance pass.

1. Increase TS to 250 m/s. The entire rear quarter of the ship is main thrusters and it weighs nothing. Also, make a racing variant without guns with a 270 m/s top speed and introduce more variety into the sparse racing class.

2. The Tigerstriek rotary gun is very good, but it needs more capacity. You WILL run out in VS. Make sure to have energy weapons on the wings.

3. A pair of size 1 missile mounts on the wings would be nice.

4. A bit higher seating position in the cockpit would make it easier to see in front of the nose.
