Yeah, I finally checked and have PTU access, so I started downloading the universe... Hope to have it by Saturday/Sunday and hope to have my controller working this weekend. But probably won't have it until next weekend because this weekend I am smoking ribs, which will take all day Sunday and a couple hours prep on Saturday... the things we do for good food, and I will leave this here from one of my previous cooks:

Hi guys, great info here. My Citizen number is #148195 but PTU is grayed out in My Account/Settings page.
Game version is 1.3, when I start the launcher it says to restart to update it but nothing happens. The game does launch. I can access my hangar and Arena Commander.
Did I miss something?

Did you get an email invitation? You should have an email from RSI giving you a PTU password and instructions if you have access.

According to ATV today, they're only up to 120k. So, he shouldn't be invited yet.

I went to the org and the "tab" to show it is grayed out.

Sabrewings has been working a graphic up that shows our fleet. I imagine it's going to change quite a bit thanks to last week's sale.

Worthington has one. I'm hoping he lets me take a spin in the 85X after chilling in the hot-tub.

I finally got the latest PTU to stop crashing at the load screen. Overall it's pretty cool but buggy. To be expected though.

I was only able to play for about 30 mins but I got to explore 3 systems. The first two I was just cruising around and exploring. Got to see some cool arrays and planets but the 3rd system I jumped into was pretty bad.
I got caught in the middle of a fire fight between some pirates and someone else. I tried to jump in and help but my little 325A just wasn't up to it. Neither was my internet speed. haha
I tried to jump to another system but it was too late and I got killed. Then the game crashed.

I think I will try a little later after the boys go to bed.

To help you keep your perspective, this is all one system. Actually, part of one system. It's the area around the gas giant Crusader and its moons. There are other planets in this system (the Stanton system), and the universe will expand over time.

Yes, and the thing to really remember is that it is all one map/level in the current implementation from my understanding. 64bit coordinate system really allowed for a nice expansion on the size of a map/level.
