So, i got this gae for christmas off a relative and installed it, couldnt wait to try it out and when it loaded...the mouse moves like the game is running at about 0.5 FPS :| but its not regular, it changes so its either faster or slower at times...i managed to chug my way into playing the game, which actually runs quite smootly

My OS is Win XP Pro
256MB RAM
1 GB Athlon
ATI Rage 128 Graphics card

Any help will be appreciated

Yes that might be the case but that doesnt explain why the game runs quite smoothly and the mouse doesnt.....
