Yeah, I don't think they ever made a Star Trek V either, they just skipped straight to VI.Thanks to a mental block the TOS movies start with Khan in my head.

Oh yeah, it's known among my family as The Great Whale Adventure. People generally use the "if you accept it for the turd it is, it's actually an awesome turd" to defend their bad taste and, uh, turds, but this is one of the few cases where it's a valid defense. Like with Deadpool, they knew exactly what kind of movie they were making so they didn't take it too seriously, and it just worked. To this day people quote the scene with Scotty talking into a mouse, even though that guy has been dead for well over a decade now, it's classic. See also: Nuclear Wessels.IV was save the whales, right?
There's a great drinking game you can play with that movie, "Spot the fire extinguishers." If someone spots a fire extinguisher, everybody else has to drink. Babylon 5.
Wait, you mean Klingons, right? There's a great drinking game you can play with that movie, "Spot the fire extinguishers." If someone spots a fire extinguisher, everybody else has to drink. Hint: the Romulans were very safety conscious.
When did the Klingons get cloaking tech, I thought that was a Romulan thing?Wait, you mean Klingons, right?

According to my simulations (in my mind), this is what the fight would look like:
Aw man - now that was an awesome series. (Generally - and not the attempted followup)
And since Star Wars laser blasts move very slowly, there is plenty of time to dodge them.A "shields up" command from Picard undoes that scenario.

I prefer sci-fi to magic stuff so Star Trek
Q isn't magic. Don't be ridiculous.Yes, there's certainly no magic in Star Trek.
I must say I'm a filthy millenial so I'm talking about the feature movies and I have no idea who that guy is. I guess that makes me a pleb.Yes, there's certainly no magic in Star Trek.
But in the Star Trek universe, the "magic" is just " 'science' your puny, insufficiently-evolved human brain isn't capable of understanding", not "quasi-religious, mystical mumbo-jumbo"...Yes, there's certainly no magic in Star Trek.
What's more, a filthy millenial with lousy observational skills... Those are two completely different people (characters and actors).I must say I'm a filthy millenial
So the difference is fiction / fantasy? That implies fantasy isn't fiction.Neither one is "better" than the other. They're completely different genre.
Star Trek is science fiction.
Star Wars is science fantasy.
