So, The Orville is coming back, next year, but it won't be on Fox. It'll be on Hulu!
Aaaannnndddddd that's the end of that series Hulu is a graveyard.

Not necessarily. Disney now has full control of Hulu. They seem to want to turn it into a modern streaming version of the Touchstone brand - a place to put mature content without sullying their Disney+ brand. Hulu may get a lot more content very soon.Aaaannnndddddd that's the end of that series Hulu is a graveyard.
Yeah, it seems that 2020 is going to be the year of great SciFi series... that are all behind paywalled subscription services.
Think about it... The Mandalorian, For All Mankind, Star Trek Picard, even The Orville. All of they will require a subscription service to watch. I think that the marketing departments all realized around the same time that Sci Fi watchers seem to have an above average annual income, and can afford to pay extra for their shows. Sucks for all of us!

This. My parents still have cable and whenever we are there and end up watching TV for a bit, it is painful! I think the cable companies' solution to digital services is even more commercials than before!Unpopular opinion, but tbh, I don't mind. I have Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, and Disney+. My "cable" bill now is still $100 less per month than it used to be, and I have instant, on-demand access to like a billion movies now with the click of a button. $40/mo for the convenience of having access to all of those platforms with zero technical effort required? Not bad, I say.

My hunch is that our streaming entertainment bill will eventually be higher than our old cable bills once our favorite shows are spread out over 7 different premium streaming networks.

Bad timing, perhaps.

It's not above average income, it's below average social life. Sci-fi fans never have to pay for dates, so they have plenty left over to sit home alone in their Incredible Hulk Underoos and subscribe to what is essentially uber-geek porn.
Who is your ISP?

Lol, pirate streaming services. WCGW?Bad timing, perhaps.
Feds Break Up Illegal Streaming Network That Dwarfs Netflix and Hulu Libraries

So with Corona filming restrictions/schedules, we can look forward to seeing a new episode sometime in 2022...Season 3 will be on Hulu:
The season will consist of fewer episodes at 11, but on average episodes will run 12 to 15 minutes longer. The Orville (season 3) - Wikipedia
