The idea got off the ground ... not sure it has enough to stay aloft though.
Who is this Seth McFarland anyhow?
You might be thinking a little too much about a show that joked about a dog licking its genitals. No as in who the fuck get something from the enemy and activate it without thorough investigation first?
Well, I jumped the gun. There's rumblings of a CBS vs Fox lawsuit. What lawsuit?

Since the lab tech was colluding with the enemy and had full access to the time thingy and its function, I'd reckon they'd have had all the pertinent info. available to them, incl. schematics, etc.
Caught the last few mins. Arbor Day. Seemed really stupid.
Liked it very much. Very new style. So much better acting than, say, STTNG episodes 1-6. And the humor is subtle but perfectly captures things like the Spock, Kirk, McCoy humor at their endings too.
I'm guessing a lot of people are waiting to see if they like it depending on whether their peers like it too.
Speaking of Star Trek Ive been watching the original show on BBC and man they really cleaned up the video and of course added all new exterior graphics and despite the interior sets it looks rather modern.
Someone who pissed off most of hollywood in one night.
That was classic. Seth will poke fun at anyone, including himself. I can't stand most of the self-righteous, hypocritical snobs in Hollywood.
Paramount and CBS are suing Axanar Productions.I find it funny that Star Trek: Discovery can be abbreviated to STD (pretty appropriate considering their reactions to fan films)
STD just looks like something I don't want to come into contact with... and sadly some of the fan made stuff looks better
the above is an extended trailer presented as a memory alpha history segment that details the 4 years war that saw the development of the Constitution Class Federation Heavy Cruisers and the equivalent Klingon D7 cruisers toward the end of the conflict.
It feels like a Classic ToS story along the lines of the Enterprise vs. Romulan Bird of Prey (with the cloaking device) classic episode.

listening to the podcast above David Gerrold had a very favorable reaction to the script of the proposed story. Some minor things would need to be changed to make it more consistent with ST: ToS but the basic story was good.
I'd rather see the proposed Axanar story than STD especially since David Gerrold a writer of one of the best ST: ToS episodes was complementary of the script.
Paramount and CBS are pretty much dead to me they flopped with Enterprise (which admittedly had an excellent Mirror Universe storyline in the last season) and STD looks like some bastardized Kelvin Timeline story that they want to pretend is a prime universe storyline.

Exactly! Their personal assistants put their pants on them one leg at a time, just like everyone else.Do you actually know any of them? I've met a couple actors and found them to be just like everyone else for the most part.
My wife was watching some pre-award show thing. They were interviewing Keri Washington and the interviewer asked what made her a normal person. She said that she has an electric toothbrush and the bristle part of her electric toothbrush is all worn out and needs changing. However she keeps forgetting to tell her PA about it.Exactly! Their personal assistants put their pants on them one leg at a time, just like everyone else.
I thought it was okay. Strange how the Krill are such bad shots though. They took what... 200 shots at the Orville landing party and only managed to graze the Captain in the shoulder?
I'll watch it again next week but I don't think this show will command an audience for more than a few episodes.
