I just rolled laughing at this question.

Only do this if you want to be amazed at how far we've come. T3 was an absolute train wreck and I'm sure everyone involved in the production has been ashamed of it ever since.

Ok, I assumed it would kind of suck, but are there any story points I need to get from it?

No there's really no story you're going to miss. you can see it if you want. It's a decent action movie with some cool scenes but not a good movie as a whole. I would watch it just to watch it though. Last movie he starred in before coming the Governator.

Terminator.

I think Matrix and Terminator are two of the greatest properties in sci-fi. Both are classic man vs. machine storylines. The first Matrix was a classic, but the sequels were so bad that it left a big hole in a lot of fans. Terminator 2 was also a classic, but fans wanted to see the franchise move to a storyline in the future...and T3 failed to deliver that (on top of being incredibly cheesy).

Terminator: Salvation has a chance to revive the franchise properly, hopefully to a level that the Batman franchise experienced.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Star Trek are the only ones I plan to see in the theater. I wasn't very excited for Star Trek until recently. Picked up some tickets for a May 7th showing last week.

I'll probably just rent Terminator Salvation whenever its released on Blu-ray/DVD.

Terminator is the one that will probably be the best, but I am excited for Transformers. Looks like great action.

I will never see Star Trek.

only terminator and star trek and interesting really.

transformers was shallow fluff. it was enjoyable to a degree but it basically missed the mark of being anything near great science fiction by a mile.

Terminator is like shiny tinsel: small children and kittens will go bonkers over it, and you might have some fun with it when no one else is in the room, but it certainly won't be a good movie. Star Trek will be fun, and might be good. Terminator is a Christian Bale film, so it'll be the most awesome thing I've ever seen, and it's a Terminator, so it's got a sweet apocalyptic backdrop which always had the potential for some real depth. Win.

Transformers.

Star Trek really isn't a ST movie.. it's just an action flick in the ST universe. As a minor Trekkie (Huge TNG fan, fairly big DS9 fan), it just doesn't appeal to me as much. I'm sure I'll still see it. T4? After that absolute garbage that was T3.. I just don't have much hope.

The first Transformers wasn't that good. It was very pretty and featured a mediocre storyline. It lacked enough robot fighting. I don't expect the new one to be much better (they've cast human actors? Thumbs down, humans in Transformers should only be there to die in huge explosions)

Star Trek could be awesome, but it's one of the cursed odd-numbered films (it's the 11th movie), and so far all of the odd films have sucked. However, it has been getting great reviews from the critics. Even so, it won't be as good as...

Teminator. More robots, more action, and a continuation of the story. Count me in

I'm definitely gonna go see all three. But out of all of them Star Trek is probably what I'm looking forward to the most.

The only reason why people are looking forward to Terminator is cus they are still in love with Christian Bale and anything he does. If it was a lesser actor, it would be hyped but people would be saying it's going to suck.

This isn't even close to being true. I didn't even know that he was in Terminator, to be honest.

I'm looking forward to Terminator because it's Terminator
