The Good
1) The game is very polished. The graphics are beautiful and the sound is good.
2) The interface is very easy to learn and navigate with. The ability to build a fleet, ground forces and space forces make this game one of a kind since "Star Wars Rebellion". Where "Star Wars: Rebellion" went well, so does this game, but where it went bad, this game does not, fortunately.
3) A lot of units in this game. This will kep those die hard strategy people occupied with the best strategies. I myself am not very good with the RTS genre since Red Alert. So, perhaps what I view as complex is simple to those who have played Empire Earth or Age of Empires III.
4. The game is huge (relatively speaking). The map you get to use on the demo is a start system that contains about 50 or so planets, each that can be conquered used to gain bonuses like "+25% damage to X-Wing fighters" or "+25% to ground defence" and things like that...
The Bad
1. I don't like the zoom out feature. First of all, it doesn't zoom out far enough while still seeing the units health, enemy's health and so on. You can zoom out very far, but once you are past a certain point, it removes the health bars, your interface and so on. I just wish it allowed us to zoom out a bit more before going to those modes.
2. The Demo didn't let us play long... The demo will get boring.
