Haha.
At first I thought. oh, a female-Vader. That's cool too and different. The voice and acting were very effeminate.
Funny, I thought the same thing.

There are more movies coming. It's clear that Luke will be very important in those.I wonder how much agreements with the former stars of Star Wars had to do with the story line; what they were willing to do, and for how much money? E.g., perhaps Harrison Ford would only agree to do one more episode and wanted his character killed off so the fans weren't left hanging? Perhaps Mark Hamil was a douchebag about the whole thing, hence only a 30 second scene with no dialogue at the end?
I'm going to watch it again this week! After watching ANH after TFA, SW4 tech is outdated, yet it was ahead of its time. Props to George Lucas.
And zero great ones since.Well, if you're not into Star Wars thats understandable. Probably not into Star Trek either, although there was only one great Star Trek movie before the reboot.
Has an shot at being #1 (unadjusted) domestically by the end of the weekend. Geez. I enjoyed watching it, but it's not that good of a movie to go see multiple times.
I am trying to decide who is going to be frozen in carbonite in Episode 8 - Finn or Poe. And Rey and Luke will have to save him.
So in the original trilogy there's dead jedi that talk to the live jedi. Do we know if the Sith can do the same thing? With Darth Emo having so many daddy/grand-daddy issues, do you think he was able to talk to Vader in the same way that Luke talked to Obi-Wan in RotJ?
Also apparently the force is now just a light switch you can turn on. You don't need any training to control it, just 'feel it' and BAM you're a jedi.

In the novelization of ROTS, Yoda discovered how to do that and then taught it to Obi Wan before they split up. It may have been alluded to in the movie also. It's also mentioned that it fades over time.
She is able to access the skills of people through the objects they used through the force (pilot skills from the rebel helmet she wears in the beginning and light saber skills from touching Luke's saber). I made this up, but it is a nice explanation.
If JJ really wanted to turn people on their head, this is how the rest should play out.
Luke and Rey work to save Kylo. It turns out that Leia is really the new emperor, and flips Rey to the dark side. Kylo gets the knights of Ren back together to hunt down Leia, and he must rescue Rey and turn her back to good. Meantime Lando hears about Han's death and returns to take ownership of the Falcon since it was his originally. He will fly the lead ship and destroy what ever device that means destruction for everyone in the end.
Yes it would. Of all the theories on the net, I have never seen this suggested before. Also, the way she aged, would fit perfectly with using the dark side. That would be a totally epic story.
