...and that's all I've ever said. I believe I gave it a 5.5 or 6 of 10. This perception of polarization is created by the film's defenders attacking every criticism someone has, even if that critic isn't saying that it's terrible. Critic = detractor, detractor = hater, hater = horrible person who must be shunned, shamed, and silenced!

I will not sit by and watch as they sit in their echo-chamber and insist that our opinion is something it isn't (they mischaracterize it). I will not sit by while they insist that I/we must agree with them or else we/I are just some kind of hater they can dismiss. It's ABSOLUTELY LAUGHABLE to see people behave this way while accusing others of behaving this way. Instead of acknowledging valid criticisms they choose to cry about the criticizers.

I never attack their opinions alone. Someone disagrees in an unjustifiable way I counter their rationale and point out what is wrong with their assumptions. When I do THAT people get defensive, which is their problem. I'm not going to stop telling it like it is to the people who need to hear it just because they don't want to hear it and want to go on believing this movie is better than it is.

Picked up Wild Gunman today... another NES Zapper light gun game from Nintendo. Also tested a SEGA Genesis Model 1 my mother found at a dumpster and attempted repair on a broken SEGA Saturn controller I bought at a pawn shop.

I wonder too if Ren knows/knew about "the girl". At the very first mention of her to him by the Star Destroyer captain, he freaks out and choke holds the dude. Seems like a strange reaction for just hear the droid was helped by "a girl" -- he flips out.
