Apparently, they predict problems today.
My theater had no special rules, but they did recommend showing up 45 minutes early unless you already printed your ticket.
I think I'll skip food and drink this morning. I dont wanna have to jump up half-way through and miss anything.

AMC Theatres
AMC does not permit weapons or items that would make other guests feel uncomfortable or detract from the movie-going experience. Guests are welcome to come dressed in costume, but we do not permit masks or face paint. In short, bring your lightsaber, turn it off during the movie, and leave the blaster and the Darth Vader mask at home.
AMC Disney Springs 24 with Dine-In Theatres
Due to excitement about the opening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and road construction near Disney Springs, please prepare to arrive a minimum of 60 minutes prior to your showtime.

Bowtie Cinemas
Star Wars costumes are welcome. However, no face coverings, face paint, capes, cloaks, simulated weapons (including light sabers/blasters) will be allowed in the building.
Brenden Theatres
Brenden Theatres is excited for the release of Star Wars on December 18. We will allow our patrons to wear Star Wars related costumes as part of their movie going experience, but for the safety and comfort of all our guests and employees the below rules must be followed before entering our facility;
• Costumes must be of a Star Wars character and related to the movie.
• For the purposes of identification by security personnel and security cameras, no portion of a customers face can be hidden by a mask, helmet, bandana, face paint, scarf, goggles, etc. at anytime.
• Star Wars related costume props that are weapons and made of plastic like a Light Saber, Blaster, Laser Gun, may be worn, but kept holstered at all times.
• Costume Props that are real or made of metal, wood, or other material like a sword, Katana, crossbow, staff, baton, knife, chain, and whip, are not allowed on Brenden Property and cannot be taken into the theater.
• Costume Props that include oversized back packs, duffle bags, or containers, etc. are not allowed inside the theater.
• Costume Props that may sound or have light and can potentially distract the movie going experience of others may not be worn inside the auditorium.
• Brenden Management and Security personnel may at anytime, before or after entry, review a customer's costume to ensure it is appropriate for our theater. If it is not then the patron may choose to remove the costume and remain on property or a refund will be given and the patron escorted off premises. Brenden Theatres may amend or cancel this costume policy at anytime with or without notice.

Carmike
Carmike has no restrictions, however costumed guests may be subject to security searches.
Chinese Theatres LLC
To All Patrons, The safety and security of our audience is of utmost importance to everyone at the TCL Chinese Theatres. As a result of the changing environment we have implemented the following security measures for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
1. All patrons and their belongings are subject to search at any time while on the premises.
2. No big bags, no backpacks, no duffel bags, no purses larger than 8.5” x 11” will be allowed in the theatre. Only purses smaller than 8.5” x 11” will be permitted into the theatre.
3. All bags will be searched.
4. The TCL Chinese Theatres reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone without reason.
5. Lightsabers are allowed but no toy weapons or props.
6. No masks and no face paint.
7. Costumes are permitted for the opening weekend shows only on December 17th thru December 20th.
8. Due to sold out showings and heightened security, all guests are advised to arrive at least 45 minutes in advance.
Additionally, if you purchased tickets for the 2:00 am or 5:15 am showings of the film on Thursday 12/17 through Sunday 12/19, please be aware of the following:
If you purchased tickets dated Thursday 12/17/15 for the 2:00am and 5:15am, you will be attending Friday 12/18/15 early morning shows. **If you have tickets dated Friday 12/18/15, you will not be admitted for those showings** If you purchased tickets dated Friday 12/18/15 for the 2:00am and 5:15am, you will be attending Saturday 12/19/15 early morning shows. **If you have tickets dated Saturday 12/19/15, you will not be admitted for those showings** If you purchased tickets dated Saturday 12/19/15 for the 2:00am and 5:15am, you will be attending Sunday 12/20/15 early morning shows. We do apologize for any inconvenience and hope that your experience with STAR WARS EPISODE VII: THE FORCE AWAKENS in IMAX 3D with Laser will be a great one.
Cinebarre
Cinebarre does not allow admission to our locations for guests of any age wearing a mask, face paint or face-obscuring hoods; or possessing weapons, props or fake weapons.
Cinelux Theatres
Large backpacks, bags, luggage and packages are prohibited inside of the building and we reserve the right to inspect the contents of any allowed bag prior to admission. While we encourage our guests to dress in costume, our admission policy prohibits the wearing of masks or face coverings (including face paint), simulated weapons and props inside the building.
Cinepolis
While Cinépolis USA welcomes guests dressed in Star Wars costumes, no weapons, masks or costume props that would make other movie-goers feel uncomfortable are permitted inside the building. Please leave your lightsabers, blasters, electrostaffs and face coverings at home.
Classic Cinemas
Prohibits masks, face paint, and costume props using real or imitation weapons. In addition, backpacks may be subject to inspection prior to admission.
Cobb Theatres We would like for all of our guests to enjoy dressing up as their favorite characters although masks, hoods, face paint or costumes that cover or hide the face are prohibited as well as any props such as character related weapons
Dipson Theatres
Dipson Theatres Costume Policy: Dipson Theatres does not permit any props of any kind, these items may make some of our guests feel uncomfortable or detract from the movie-going experience. Guests are welcome to come dressed in costume, all customers and patrons are subject to search, and if you wear a mask you will be requested to take it off inside the theatre and at the time of entry. In short, please do NOT bring your lightsaber or other props, leave the blaster and masks at home.
Flix Brewhouse
We're incredibly excited that you chose Flix Brewhouse to experience the latest installment of Star Wars! And if you feel like dressing for the occasion, please do, but you’ll need to follow some simple rules for the well-being of all guests and our service team. Masks, face coverings, blasters, light sabres, and toy weapons are not permitted anywhere in Flix Brewhouse without advance written permission of management. Any costumes must fit within your normal seat if you bring it into the auditorium with you and not obstruct other guests or service aisles. This is a year-round rule and is consistent with policies of other major cinemas. Thank you for your cooperation and may the Force be with you!
Frank Theatres
We encourage all of our guests to have a fun and safe time. If wearing a costume is a part of that experience for Stars Wars we encourage doing so however, our policy is not to allow the wearing of masks. Admittance may be subject to search by theatre management.
Goodrich Quality Theatres
To assist in creating a welcome and distraction-free environment, the following policies are in place for all movies showing at Goodrich Quality Theaters locations:
• Guests are welcome to come dressed in costume, but we ask that masks, hoods, helmets or face paint concealing or obscuring the face be left at home.
• Any noise or light-emitting devices that are part of costumes must be turned off during the presentation.
• Weapons or items able to confuse or mislead fellow patrons are not permitted. This includes lightsabers, blasters, Wookie bows, ion paddle beamers, wrist rockets, stun sticks, etc.
• No talking or texting on a cellular device.
Remember to respect those around you during your visit to the theater. PLEASE NOTE: The refusal or inability to remove said item or items previously aforementioned will provide theater staff or management with cause to escort this individual/s from the premises.
Kerasotes
We’re incredibly excited to be part of motion picture history with Star Wars: The Force Awakens. To make sure everyone has an ICONIC experience, we’re more than happy to allow our guests to dress up as their favorite characters - but we only ask that they do not have masks or headgear on when they enter the theatre. Lightsabers and toy props are fine too, as long as there are no Jedi vs. Dark Side showdowns. Our hope is that even the biggest fans, or anyone new to the Star Wars Franchise can have the ultimate ICONIC experience with us and enjoy all of our amenities - including our all-new Red Carpet Recliners.
King Theatres
We encourage costuming for the Star Wars event, however, maks, light sabers and anything resembling weapons will not be permitted in the auditoriums.
Malco Theatres, Inc.
Guests are welcome to come dressed in costume. However, face coverings, masks and/or face paint, as well as simulated weapons, including light sabers and blasters are not permitted in our theatres.
Marcus Theaters
Arrive at your Marcus Theatre about 45 minutes prior to the show. This will allow extra time to park, enter the theatre, visit concessions and find your seat. Dressing up as your favorite “Star Wars” character is welcome and hats and helmets are ok, but no masks that cover your face. Bringing lightsabers is acceptable, but toy versions of real weapons (guns, etc.) are not permitted. No “Star Wars” costumes/gear should become a disruption to the moviegoing experience. When possible we prefer that large bags, backpacks, packages and the like, are left in vehicles or at home. Please be aware that we reserve the right to search certain items, such as these, prior to admission.
Maya Cinemas
Maya Cinemas has in place policies and procedures that assist all moviegoers to fully enjoy the films we feature and move with ease into their theatres.
BAG CHECKS
All bags, including purses, will be checked upon entering the Maya Cinemas building. We ask that you please leave all bags at home for the evening. Large bags and backpacks will NOT be allowed.
COSTUMES
Costumes may be worn to the theatre, please consider the following policies:
MASKS/FACEPAINT
Please refrain from wearing heavy face paint. Masks may NOT be worn inside the building. For the comfort and safety of all guests, no weapons, including blasters, bow casters, and any other guns, knives, etc.(real or fake), are allowed on the premises. While characters in many films carry weapons, we ask you to omit these from your character.
LIGHT SABERS
Maya Cinemas will NOT allow light sabers in the building.
SEATING
Maya Cinemas does not offer reserved seating. Seating will be first come, first served. Please note that saving seats will not be permitted, your entire party should plan to arrive early.
GENERAL POLICIES
• Maya Cinemas is a non-smoking facility. Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaporizers, is strictly prohibited inside the building, and within 25 feet of the building outside.
• Drugs and alcohol are not permitted at Maya Cinemas, including in the parking lot. Any guest perceived to under the influence will not be admitted and no refund will be given.
• No outside food or drink is permitted in Maya Cinemas auditoriums.
• No weapons, real or fake are allowed on the premises.
• Any guests perceived to be causing a disruption will be asked to leave the premises and no refund will be given.
Movie Tavern
Costumes will be allowed at Movie Tavern. However, no masks, helmets, face paint, or simulated weapons (including lightsabers and blasters) will be allowed in the building.
NCG Cinemas
Star Wars Costumes are welcome. However, no face coverings, face paint or blasters will be allowed into the building. Lightsabers will be allowed but can not be ignited in the auditorium.
Pacific Theatres
Costume/Bag Policy: No props, masks/face paint, or large bags (e.g. backpacks, luggage, and large shopping bags). As determined by Pacific Theatres in its sole discretion. All other bags are subject to search and we reserve the right to refuse admittance.
Penn Cinemas
Costumes may be worn to the premiere; however, please consider the following policies:
MASKS/FACEPAINT
Please refrain from wearing heavy face paint. The following restrictions apply to all masks: 1) Masks may NOT be worn past the lobby 2) Masks should be removed when interacting with any Penn Cinema staff and/or volunteers 3) Be prepared to remove your mask or helmet upon request.
WEAPONS
Penn Cinema’s weapons policy remains in effect. For the comfort and safety of all guests, we respectfully ask that no weapons including blasters, bow casters and any other guns, knives, etc. (real or fake) be brought on the premises. We understand that many characters in Star Wars carry guns or some other weapon; however, we request that you omit these from your costumes.
LIGHT SABERS
For purposes of the premier of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Penn Cinema will allow light sabers. Beyond the lobby, light sabers should be deactivated and sheathed.
Reading Cinemas
To ensure the comfort of all of our guests, [City Cinemas / Reading Cinemas / Angelika Film Center] does not permit weapons or items that will detract from the movie-going experience into our theaters. If you do plan to arrive in costume, we kindly request that you leave masks and light sabers at home as they will not be permitted into the theater. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated. May the force be with you!
Regal Theatres
REG does not allow admission to our locations for guests of any age wearing a mask, face paint or face-obscuring hoods; or possessing weapons, props or fake weapons.
Regency Cinemas
Allowing costumes but no masks.
