No there weren't. Because that wasn't in any of the 6 movies I saw. So it didn't happen.
Agree with zin about how hilarious it will be when the EU fans don't get their way in these new movies.
Although Mark Hamill with a beard does look cool.

I am tired of the EU fanboys wanting that shit included in the official canon. EU fans, I hate to break it to you, but the EU content is awful. Go ahead, pick up a Zahn book and read it 20 years after it was published and you'll be alarmed at how TERRIBLE it is. We liked them in the early 90s because that was the first bit of "new" Star Wars stuff released in 10 years.
I remember enjoying the first Zahn trilogy so a couple of years ago, I bought a couple of his later Star Wars books and was alarmed at how terrible they were. I couldn't even finish them. I need to find a few EU suckers to sell them to, I guess. Want a formula for writing an EU book? Here you go:
1. Gratuitously throw in lines from the movies at every possible opportunity. If I read Han saying "I have a bad feeling about this" one more time, I'll shove the book up the author's ass.
2. Everyone in the SW universe seems to grimace whenever they say something according to Zahn.
3. Need a new villain? Just make him a clone and better yet, throw in extra U's in his name. Remember Luuke Skywalker and Joruus C'boath?
Oh, and by the way, IIRC, Lucas already was pretty far along with Episode VII and I am sure they're going to use his basic treatment for the next trilogy. Do any of you EU fans SERIOUSLY think Lucas would recycle EU garbage?
