If I owned Starbucks, I should have the "RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE"
That "right" isn't a right anymore. It's just a sign places hang up to spice up the walls.

umm...I beg to differ. Considering where ALL threads about religion end up going, you HAVE to be either too retarded to realize it, or a troll who's doing it on purpose.

What is wrong with holding a company libiable for a promise it made. Starbucks wouldn't think twice about sueing someone for walking out on a 114 million dollar tab so why should starbucks get to walk away from it obligations?
If the coupon was legit, and if the store was legally obligated to accept it (I'm not sure how Starbucks organizes their stores, but not all locations "choose to participate" in certain coupon deals), THEN Starbucks is responsible for all $4 or so of coffee that they promised. And not a cent more.
If someone walked out on a $5 tab, you can bet that Starbucks wouldn't be suing them for $114 million. Your analogy SUCKS.

The judge should throw everyone employed by that law firm and the plaintiff in jail for a year for wasting the taxpayer's time and money.
The promise wasn't made to the coupon holder.Originally posted by: smack Down

Umm yes it was. Starbucks employee were told to give the coupon to other people. How is that not a promise to the people given the coupon?
