am i missing something in this bickering? but you can have non real ID friends, not sure what the issue is.
Yeah that is what I was saying...apparently I'm not the only one that cannot read.
Let me spell it out. Your real name is only given to those that you add to your real ID list. I.E. you have to give them your email address, and they have to give you theirs. You have to intentionally give it to them. RealID works across all blizzard games. Completely separate from this is the friends list in SC2. Here you can add a persons user name so you can see when each other are playing only SC2. You never ever have to give the big bad man on the other side of the intertubes your real name.
