anyways, reinstalled SC2 once to the apps partition and produced the same error message. now installing to my FRAPS drive.

edit: and I still get the same error message from SC 2. awesome!

edit2: and it is so awesome that I can not post on the bnet forum about my issue because I need to create a SC 2 character in-game to be able to post.

update: turns out ATI Tray Tools was what was causing the error message

second update: didn't know I wouldn't be able to delete my account. guess I'm stuck with profile name "AnErrorOccur" for a while now.

But why does Kerrigan still have Zergy hair when she's human? It could reference some keeping of power in that she's still somewhat Zerg-like.

You need a critical mass of VR to do that effectively, and it's only good against weak units like workers/marines/zerglings. It's not a very cost effective harass.

I had forgotten about those. There were so many custom maps out there that some of the better developers achieved cult status of their own.

Have you tried? Blizzard has made it rather difficult to make/mod a map and play it. You have to publish it and that in itself was quite a challenge for me.

I was trying to mod an existing map to be more accomodating to practice speed building[to learn hotkeys and memorize build trees] without having to learn expansion tactics yet. I found out you can't just save the map and load it in the game. You have to log in to bnet from the map editor and publish them[and they have to adhere to certain practices in order for the upload to complete without problems]. Not only that, you are only allowed to publish 5 maps total. You then log into bnet from the game and hope it shows up among the list of pre-made blizzard maps. Took me a few hours to finally get one working.

Naw, I think it's simply their attempt at common sense. She reverted back to being human, but whatever non-living parts she had can't magically revert. They figured it'd be silly (and I agree) if her head spikes magically turned into human hair.

But her wings just magically fell off... I think there is more than what was shown at play. Tychus was a double agent (everyone saw that one coming) and Mengst's power is still intact (although his son hinted at usurping his father's power). The story of Raynor is far from over.

I believe that she will still exert control over the zerg. What the artifact did to here was remove the compulsion to destroy everything that the overmind was unable to remove completely, that is how she will be able to save everyone from the hybrids.

I believe without the Queen of Blades guiding them, the next campaign will be the zerg swarm just taking, for lack of a better term, zerging the galaxy. Kerrigan will have a unique position to control zerg and fight the invasion, using their own tactics. Since, it will be hard to tell a good zerg from the bad zerg, you'll fight the other races as well.

If you're just trying to play the computer or something, there is a selection in the editor to test the map. This loads into the map without logging onto bnet.

If you're trying to play with friends or other people, then I guess you're SOL. No testing the map quickly with a few people...

You can't set the difficulty with the test[or I don't know where to change it if there is?] and it's defaulted to medium as far as I can tell which is barely a challenge.

You'll do just fine with low setting... works just fine on my 640MB 8800GTS.
