Ugg. I have to wait 3 weeks until I'm back in the states to my gaming computer. I mean I suppose I could buy it now, but all I could do is look at it. I'm going to be so behind haha.

I order from Vons.com, including fresh meats, fruits and veggies. They do a good job, and the only time I go to the (convenience) store is to get stuff like milk that goes bad fast.

Gogamer came through for me for SCII. I preordered the CE about a week ago with Fedex 2-day delivery. I have it sent to work for convenience. I got to work at 9:30 and was mailing some bills in the shipping area and was going to tell the guy to look out for my package in the next day or two, when the Fedex truck pulled up with it. Outstanding.

This is going to be a long day at work. I think I'm not feeling well and have to go home early...

So I just beat the AI in skirmish mode but it didn't register in battlenet (towards one of the achievements), has anyone had problems like this? And yes I'm connected to the internet.

I'm pretty sure you have to be able to log into the game in order to pick the name. And if you can do that, then you can play it!

Just playing the campaign. Used an hour redoing all the keys with an MPQ editor. Really annoying they didn't have customizable hotkeys at launch, this ain't 1999.

I have a really old computer that played the beta, but really terribly (1gb memory really holds the game back, I found). I can still log on, but I wouldn't want to play a game because I'd get slaughtered.

From what I've read, handles aren't unique. Apparently we are all assigned a gamer number to go along with whatever name we choose.

It sounds like there can only be 1000 instances of a certain name... do you get to pick your own gamer number or is it assigned? I can't really find any information on the whole handle registration thing...

and are handles/accounts attached to a battle.net account, or the SC2 license key? in other words, can I get a friend to register an account for me (like how SC1's battle.net had names linked to emails only, you could use anyone's CD key) or does it have to be linked to a retail key?

I've heard that 1000 number as well, but I'm not positive. Like you, I haven't found much concrete information regarding all of this. I have read about a lot of people who chose random names in their haste to play, only to find out you cannot change said name. Pretty funny some of the names people have chose.

I'm pretty sure handles/accounts are attached to our battle.net accounts. The SC2 key gets attached to our account as well (which is how the WoW pets get distributed to those who bought the CE). Again, I'm not 100% on this, but from what I've read, that's my understanding.

You have to make exactly one "character", which is tied to one battle.net account (you login using your battle.net login). You can only play the one character associated with the battle.net account you log in using. You can only have one copy of Starcraft 2 per battle.net account, and the key obviously only activates one copy. That kinda makes it sound confusing and restrictive, but really it is simple and exactly how I like it.

Setup files. You need to install.

My question: can I somehow register the dog-tag StarCraft on battle.net? The USB drive is kinda cool, lights up when you plug it in so I would like to use it around. There's no CD-Key on it or anything... And I didn't find any extra CD-Keys anywhere, just the SC2 key inside the box.

The Thor pet will be tied to a WoW account on the same Battle.net account you tie your SC2 account to. To prevent selling it, I guess.

Got it this morning on that K mart $20 game coupon. Not sure what I will spend it on since K mart usually sucks with games. Maybe they will carry FF14 in sept. and I can use it on that.
