Sure, there's nothing wrong with debating the product. There's a difference between being interested in the discussion and taking it personally. When someone says something good about the iPad I don't take it as an insult to myself.

The bets in GG&P is over whether Apple will go with Verizon by Dec 30th of 2010, and I may well lose...

HP and Dell have had tablets available for years, but the sales numbers aren't there. I bought a Dell and modded the hell out of it, it was horrible...

Google isn't pimping tablets at all, outside of the phone form factor so far. The Dell Streak is really interesting to me too, I wish to hell they'd put a radio compatable with TMobile's 3G in it.

Apple has something that will work, based on it's experience with the most successful tablets thus far, the iPhone & the iPod Touch.

I don't understand the point of HDMI out in the iPad either.

However, I can most definitely understand the want for multitasking, camera, USB, and Flash.
