Dont know what you guys have been smoking I know Ive burned atleast 500 CD-Rs of Imation! Ive even used half of them to burn VCD and SVCD movies and havnt had a single one fail on me yet!

BTW.. I just picked up another 100 48X more! GREAT Deal. $10.35 for 100 CD-Rs.

I think bestbuy has these to so you should beable to price match. Maybe even Circuit City pricematch 110%.

I just got 2 spindles for 10.35 out the door. Funny, the dump display says 9.97 for EACH spindle. Thought I would have a fight on my hands but it went thru just fine.

Best buy has these for 18.99-10 mir -4 mir for a total of 4.99 per.

Now, the money works out the same but you have to wait 8 weeks for the rebates?

I am thinking, PM to the OD ad, THEN mail in the rebates and MAKE $$$, right?

But, what if they will not print out the rebates when you PM to the OD ad???? I mean, if they DO, you get two spindles and make 4 bucks...

I was GONNA not argue, and use the online rebate, but cannot find the $4 rebate...and on the page where they have the other rebate they have this disclaimer: In-store rebates are valid on in-store purchases only. BestBuy.com rebates are valid with online purchases only.

WTF IS THAT!!!?!?!


Guess I am off to beast buy with a receipt and an OD ad to find out!

That doesnt make since. Sounds like BS to me tring to get out of the price match.

BB tried to tell me that the coupon was like a rebate, too. Then I showed them my reciept from OD and they said that since the cost is the same "in the end" they would not honer the PM. I explained that since you can only get ONE set of rebates, then the least they could do is sell me one at 18.99 and one at 4.99 and they would not even do that. Of course, by then the point was moot because unless BB was gonna PAY ME to buy the spindles I was not gonna give em my money.

Best buy sux, as usual.

thanks for the post, the store i visited ran out of the Imations and were substituting Spin-X, which ran out also, so they let me have Maxell's instead (same 24.97 retail price the manager said)

all made in Taiwan unfortunately, no Japan TYs
