I ended up picking up this game cause I've seen a few of Baron's Battlefront videos on YouTube and it looks pretty fun. Plus, c'mon, it's frickin Star Wars and not some cheap-ass knock-off game released to coincide with a film, but an actual triple-A title. I got the "Deluxe" edition for $10 more to get those few items, not sure if they'll help at all, but it was only $10 and I'm baller as fuck.

I'm gonna be pretty gamed out since I'm into Fallout 4 but I hope to play some Battlefront tonight and give my first impression of it.

My friend bought it and says he wishes he waited because he didn't realize it would be so lacking in content and everything would be DLC. He also says it's too much like titanfall and not enough like battlefield, but I don't know what that means.

I played about 2 - 2.5 hours last night for the first time. It actually runs pretty dang well at 1080p on my old ass system, though my 7870 saves it from complete fail and shit.

I played a couple games of Walker Assault, Supremacy, and the one that's just "kill more guys than the other team." My favorite wss the daytime Walker Assault on Endor... the beautiful graphics, engrossing sound, intense battle: awesome.

My only complaint so far is the game is incredibly difficult; I don't know if it's just because I'm using the basic weapons or what but I just get terribly raped. Need more practice I guess, but I'm looking forward to it!

Oh and I did manage to grab a couple vehicles: a TIE Fighter and a landspeeder. I thought controlling the TIE Fighter was really difficult; maybe using my Xbox controller would work better.

As for the game, not as engaging as Battlefield but I could see myself playing until I max out and unlock everything. Probably won't get any of the LDC though. One thing I would like is if they had another color for people in your party like they do for your partner.

I picked it up on pre-order. I played it a few hours on launch night and returned it the next day. Not worth 60 bucks. I'll pick it up on sale with all the DLC in a few months or so.

To those disappointed in TAA and FXAA, using SweetFX's LUMASHARPEN works to re-sharpen the image to give back detail that the AA turns into blurry Vaseline.

Since this modifies the .exe would it be bad to use it in a multiplayer game like Star Wars: Battlefront? I really don't wanna get a smack down from BattleEye for using a visual mod.

I know there is no single player campaign but is there an offline mode or CPU controlled online mode? Like, if i dont want to do a mission with a bunch of tweens online I can opt to have CPU/Server controlled teams to play these missions? I pretty much ordered this game because "Star Wars" and had gamestop gift cards just sitting in my wallet.

Played a few more hours last night. I'm really liking it. I actually get 60 fps most of the time with whatever the settings are, medium I think, but the game looks fantastic. I get more stuttering/slowdown in the menus, for whatever reason.

Still getting raped without lube nonstop but I did a little better last night. I think my best game (I played mostly Supremacy, it seems the most fun to me so far) was like 10 kills and 6 deaths or so.

The first time I played I tried out the "Partner Play" but I didn't really understand it. I assumed it was like Squads in Battlefield, where you just spawn next to a fellow player, but this seemed different. I could use someone else's cards/hand, which was nice, cause I didn't have shit. Does that mean he had to use the two shitty cards I had? LOL, poor bastard if so. Anyway, I'm having fun so far despite its difficulty. Just need more practice I guess.

It doesn't affect the .exe file at all, it's simply an overlay.

There are missions of single-player and/or co-op nature to get used to the controls and such. And another benefit is that there is no VOIP active, so I don't care how old the players are or how much time they have to invest in perfecting their A-Wing skillz. I can jump in an mess around and have a good time with just some basic FPS understanding and a slow acclimation to the maps.

I noticed that the rifle blasters are terribly inaccurate and under-powered. The handgun blasters are much more powerful, albeit much slower firing rate. I was getting terrible K/D at first even though I would hit my target. I then switched to handgun blasters and saw much better results.
