StarWars Battlefront gameplay debut April 17th

Played a bit on the console. As a pc gamer the controls are terrible though I guess it's OK if everyone subjected to the same thing.

I played until I got to level 50 and then stopped. My group of friends had picked it up hoping to play like we did in BF but there isn't much interaction with your teammates. If they add more Turning point maps I might come back for a bit but I'm certainly not buying any of the other DLC.

Same here, I finally hit level 50 and haven't touched it since.

If they would integrate this game with Battlelog so it would have a server browser and be easier to play with friends, then I think they would see much better player numbers. As is, its a real pain in the ass just to get into a game.

A month since the last reply, quite telling. I caved today because it dropped to $30. Still don't feel like I got enough game for my money. I'll let the dust settle on this thread again but if you are reading this from the future, wait til it drops to $20 and send me powerball numbers

Yah, I almost bit at $30, but then I decided it was better not to reward them for this ultra casual piece of shit. Even $5 sends the wrong message.

This game sucks. Admittedly, I dont play shooters much but Im constantly getting one-shotted by people I cant even see, while I can whale away at someone with my blaster and they have enough time to turn around and kill me. Ill play Walker Assault and get 2 kills to 25 deaths. F this shit.

Do you use a controller? I find it impossible to do anything in aerial vehicles with the KB/M, everything is totally opposite from BF4.

Which admittedly makes absolutely no sense. I've always used at the very least a joystick in air vehicles since BF1942, then BF3 came out and I noticed that when I used my controllers I didn't have a brake like the KB/M players did so they could turn tighter. Haven't been happy with BF since.

Battlefront? Game is terrible and I left it at that since the beta. I figured it'd get popular during Christmas then immediately die off.

A recent update looks to have added what is effectively a single-player/two-player option to the game.

Walker Assault or Fighter Squadron are both available to just play against bots of varying levels of difficulty.

It's pretty good. I enjoy using cockpit view for Fighter Squadron in this mode to get a little more movie magic from my experience.


Hopefully when the sequel comes they'll provide all these things from the jump... but I suppose it depends if there is overall positive response now.
