I'm sorry you are going through that.Been here for 5yr, been in my career for 20, when exactly is that shit supposed to pick up? Mind you I'm near the top of the income bracket for my age, I'm doing well. My point is, everything is too fucking expensive. Legit, right now, I couldn't afford another car. I couldn't afford a big bill (AC dies, roof replacement, bullshit like that). I'm not bad with money, we don't go on trips, we buy needs, very few wants, and we're still crunched, at a 6 figure income.
I'm super stoked that the lower income brackets are doing better, I really am. Not everyone is, and that's not easy to address because Congress can't dictate non-min wage incomes or lower costs of consumer goods (realistically).
