Slavery is a concept that implies the acceptance or denial of ones condition. Can you be happy knowing you are going to die? Joy and misery are mutually exclusive things. One can experience both but not at the same time. A person who is a slave externally, and we all are to death, does not have to be a slave inwardly. If one allows oneself to feel oneself to be a slave one will be a slave.

The conclusions I came to are the ones stated as observable scientific facts, the ones the science demonstrated to be true by experiments. This is actually a point that I have even considering as worth creating a thread discussing this. However my more in-depth thought about it began just recently when I was reading the technocrat article on Wikipedia. I was disappointed to discover that it discussed more about scientists running the country than political and administrative professionals who run the country and are promoted based off their skill and knowledge. Something like the old Chinese Civil Service including the exams that everyone had to take back then. Instead the article was more about STEM types running a country. It takes political and administrative science to run a country not natural sciences. The fact is with all the complaining and boasting by STEMs about how the rest of the country is failing to promote STEM and that STEM professionals could run a country perfectly the fact is they would fail just as fast do to their lack of expertise when dealing with corruption and international politics and such. They would grow corrupt and turn to cronyism just as fast as other politicians. The division of "science" between the philosophy and hard science branches in the Medieval ages continues to pay such wow dividends. Think Wallerstein might have been talking about this in World Systems Analysis in his introduction. Probably about time to pick that book up again and start reading.
