I actually did surf & turf tonight...grilled cod & steak, but I'm putting the bulk of it into FoodSaver bags when they cool down. We just started using the FoodSaver...the food comes out
a-maz-ing! We have a favorite Chinese place and got a bunch of extra food to take home last time we went; we just reheated it yesterday and it tasted EXACTLY the same as it did when we got it! I've tried the microwave method, but it doesn't heat as evenly as the boil method (put the sealed bag in boiling water for 10-15 minutes - just enough to warm it up, not cook it more). I've started cooking extra on every meal to have ready-made meals in the freezer for the future, especially when I'm busy, tired, don't want to cook, etc.
