Steal for Palm users, a keyboard for 19.99 OD

Check out your sunday circular. I went to OD earlier and they pointed out the misprint. If you pressure them they will honor it. Their motto is to make the customer happy. Sku is 572-501 says its for 19.99 should be 99.99. Its a keyboard for the palm devices. Look it up on their website

Who makes this keyboard..
GO type? palm? does it fold over from 2 sides?
or in the middle..
mine folds over.. but others fold into a small pkg.

I think it's collapsible from three pieces......not sure bout the brand but it's the only one for palm that is foldable.
btw, does any one know if it is compatible with IIIx.

Thanks SO much - I didn't even notice this in the ad, so if you hadn't posted I'd've never gotten one. Just got back from OD and they're being really nice about it, but you have to ASK for it and have the ad in hand - they've pulled them from the shelves.

went to office depote and they had a notice in the front of the store and it said missprint on this item ,tried to go to staples with the flyer and they said that sku# was office depotes and not a brand sku# ,so no good !!

I picked up one last night. Almost had to fight the manager because the computers out on their floor says it was $99.99. But as soon as we got to the cashier, the point of sale registers says it was $19.99!!! Before you give up, ask them to check the price on the register, not the computers on the floor!!!

Mine cost $106 with tax this morning. There was a sign close to the display mentioning the mistake in the flyer. I thought I'd try it anyway. I'll either return it or see if Amex Blue can back me up on the flyer price.

Funny, its actually for the V. I thought the III and V were different.

Maybe I should take it back and see if there's a different SKU for the III?

I just got back from local "hard axx" Office Depot and was told it was a misprint, was supposed to be $19.99 when bought with a Palm. The keyboard they pulled out had been taken off the shelf and was in back but rang up as $99.99 on the register. This is a new Palm folding model made to work with Palm III, V? and the new Palm 100. OD sku #572-501.

tell them you will file a complaint. They will break down, they a) know that the corporate motto is to make the customer happy and b) they would rather loose money on the sale than risk getting a visit from a district manager about it.

Call their corporate number and when instructed, press 2 to talk to customer service. Order it from them and they should honor the price. They did for me and I got mine for a grand total of $21.64. What I do not get is the free shipping I got. It probably had to do with it originally coming up for $99.99 with free shipping and then adjusted to $19.99, still retaining the free shipping.

Woohoo... I can now take class notes with my Palm M100. Now I will look like a total geek.

The keyboard is only for the Palm III (any version), Palm VII (not VI since it the VI does not exist), and M100. It is not for the Palm V series.
