Sweet, will definitely pick up the 4th Borderland DLC, that's the only one I'm missing. For the price, Borderlands is a great game. Imagine Diablo but in FPS form. Just wish the game did a better job at handling multiplayer games.

For the sales price, definitely worth it even if you're just playing single player. But just imagine playing Diablo 2 in single player only.

Yes and Yes.

Borderlands visuals are just amazing. The graphics do more then just create a new game, they create a whole world.

To me, Borderlands is best when played with a friend. The cars have 2 seats - 1 seat for a driver and 1 seat for a gunner. So just imagine your buddy driving, while you blast the bad guys with a rocket launcher. Some of the players skills are tuned towards multi-player, like being able to heal other players.

I dont know if they fixed it or not, but the microphone was always on in multiplayer, there was no push to talk option. You turned the mic on and it stayed on. Which could get a little irritating when you hear other players TV or phone.

Sometimes your weapons seem a little underpowered. You can hit an enemy 5 times in the head before he goes down.

I paid full price for Borderlands and do not regret it. At $4.99 for the just borderlands, or $7.50 for game of the year, that is a great price.

But overall, I found Borderlands fun to play in single player, but more fun with a friend.

I've played through the entire single player solo and enjoyed every minute of it. It is one of my fav games when it came out.

$4.99 game = no DLC
$7.50 GOTY game = all the DLC. It's right there in the Steam game description.

The DLC pack is for someone who bought the base game earlier, there is no point in buying it now since it's priced the same as the GOTY.

According to Steam, I've played Borderlands for 86.6 hours and all of that was single player. It's definitely doable, but I have been playing WoW since it came out if that's any indication of my game playing habits .

Edit: Dammit, sometimes I hate steam. I just also bought Anomaly Warzone Earth and Dead Money DLC for F:NV, and now Borderlands and DLC. I'm slowing chewing through my Wishlist though.

I played 26hrs all of which was singleplayer and it was fune but got boring after a while. I haven't touched multiplay but I don't think I should yet until I get high enough level.
