Wouldn't be as much as a pita compared to a scammer setting up an account without this authentication and spamming a legit account, IMO. Not sure what your reasoning is to not have steam guard, or multiple verification, but I actually like it, since I have a serious investment in my steam account.

I have steam guard, email verification as that's all you need for support from them if anything happened, but I never set up the mobile authenticator as I only trade these cards you get during such events just for one quick collection for the fun of it and never needed it before.

Also said scammer could be blocked easy if it was a issue not to mention new accounts are prevented from doing this for awhile and need to get a certain steam profile level but usually unless you gave them your trading link they would have to be your friend to issue a trade request.

Some people get way too into trading those cards or crap you get from certain games and I never do that kind of stuff really and it looks like a lot of issues in the discussion forums on steam about other people upset.

If anyone has wanted any of the 'game making' software programs, there's a great deal at bundlestars now, with the $14.99 tier including a lot - but a $1 tier also.

I dont get why people get their panties in a wad over the trading card bs. I mean what do you get out of it? Basically experience points on steam which basically does nothing, some icons or desktop background art, etc. If you actually could win something with it like tons of free games or money, then i could maybe see, but its mostly pointless if you think about it.

I see it as another game to play. Though I usually just sell the cards.

I've given up on the cards it is tedious and I see no benefit to them, even selling them. You're lucky to sell in the market and even luckier to get more than 25 cents. They simply aren't fun.

$8.99 or more for all of that plus Lara Croft & the Temple of Osiris, Tomb Raider: GOTY Edition, and Hitman Absolution: Elite Edition.
good deal?

F Yes! Tomb Raider is still worth $30 in my eyes.

You're lucky to sell in the market
No luck required for that. Just list them at the lowest current price (if there are only a few cards at that price) or 1 cent bellow the lowest current price (if there are a lot of cards listed at that price).

For backgrounds and emoticons, check if they do not have unusually high value (in which case, you should sell them individually) and if not, transform them into gems and sell sacks of 1000 gems (with the same approach - lowest price or 1 cent bellow the current lowest price).

Cards should not be transformed into gems, because they usually have low gem value.

I usually just sell them off, as the 7 or 12 cents at a time eventually adds up to some cheap game on sale for free. If I happen to be one or two cards away from a badge I will trade to finish it off, but I never purchase cards with any money not made from trading.

Humble Bundle offers bundles of games greatly discounted, with a small percent for charity.
Just as you decide how much to pay for Humble Bundles, you also decide who gets the money. You can give 100% to charity, or none.

I picked up Grim Fandango and Cities Skylines. Nothing else is at a good price. And GMG, no voucher on sale games = no purchase. Blops3 for 55% percent off would be an instant buy.

Anyone played Rebel Galaxy? Looks pretty good. I'm also thinking of finally jumping into Homeworld Remastered--I never played the originals.

What about Sunless Sea? Just saw it in my queue and it looked interesting, in a Space Pirates and Zombies/Armored Princess sort of way...

Also, I'm looking for a few small footprint sim-type, RTS games for my new Surface Pro 4 (the i5, 8gb model). Something like CivCity Rome--is that any good? Or, for that matter, wondering if Civ5 is a bad idea for the Surface. I haven't played it since first release, when I hated it, but have heard that it is much improved with DLC.

It's all about getting the event collection and getting a new background for it for me usually as that's all I care about also.

From reading reviews, it's described as being great at having text that is atmospheric, but can be very difficult and also tedious to play, with long stretches of slow travel.

I've seen that, and I've seen other bundles that say a small percent goes to charity where you don't use the sliders, if I remember.

Fantasy Grounds, and many of their licensed products like D&D 5e have a good sale going on right now. If you are looking for a VTT.

Steam's client store page are currently broken. Mine was showing the interface in Chinese for a moment, and said that I'm logged out. A minute later I refreshed and it's in Russian.

It seems that there are tons of people out there reporting the same thing.

Some people say that they're logged in on other people's accounts and could see their shopping cart, address, etc.

Edit: I just went to my 'account details' and could see someone else's detail there. He has $20 in his steam wallet

In the last week I've made $25 selling cards. Paid for more than half my purchases so far this sale.
