In the last week I've made $25 selling cards. Paid for more than half my purchases so far this sale.
Bought Rocket League. Its so much fun its insane. Also bought Project Cars. I was curious and it was cheap. Driving in helmet view in a formula car is pretty awesome.
Steam's client store page are currently broken. Mine was showing the interface in Chinese for a moment, and said that I'm logged out. A minute later I refreshed and it's in Russian.
It seems that there are tons of people out there reporting the same thing.
Some people say that they're logged in on other people's accounts and could see their shopping cart, address, etc.
Edit: I just went to my 'account details' and could see someone else's detail there. He has $20 in his steam wallet
I am looking to buy only one game in the Steam sale. Which of these four games would you guys get and why:
Middle Earth: Shadows of Mordor
Ori and the Blind Forest
Pillars of Eternity
Project Cars
I only want to buy one because I have a huge backlog but have $20 to spend on Steam.
You can get Shadow of Mordor GOTY for $7.40 from cdkeys. Just be sure to be near your billing phone number if you order.I am looking to buy only one game in the Steam sale. Which of these four games would you guys get and why:

So what's with the publishers breaking the rules?
Steam said the sale is going to have the start price be the same throughout the whole sale with no daily's, flash and vote sales. The features are just highlighted deals to give exposure but here we are with fallout 4 at 17% off when it was 0% off for a few days. I've noticed other games have the same thing happen, Steam needs to crack down on that behaviour or otherwise go back to the old system.
I interpreted the rule to be that if a game is on sale, it will not be put on further discount throughout the sale.
Well apparently its the opposite too, South Park Stick of Truth was 75% to start but is not on sale at all now(not sure if bug).
How long does a refund take to process?
I jumped on AC Rogue today, decided at $12 I shouldn't pass it up. Started up the game and as soon as I take control of the character the game crashes. Settings fiddle... crash. repeat. refund.
I bought it with steam money that I was gifted. I want to re-spend it on a game that won't crash before the sales are over. How long does it take? Is it a few hours or a few days?
LOL, I have seen that a lot during Steam sales.thanks steam!
Steam's plan is half working. . . with the discovery queues my wish list is getting larger. But without daily deals I've not felt any urgency to buy any of them, so I haven't.

I absolutely hate soccer but wonder if I would like Rocket League. It sure gets rave reviews.
It's ironic that the main point of brief sales is to manipulate buyers with manufactured scarcity increasing the urgency to buy - and when they don't do it, many customers complain.
It's the thrill of the chase. A casino where I always win, that's boring. I must really be . . . in hell!
