Dying Light = Platform jumper where if you fall down you fight zombies. I requested a refund, so disappointing...
Pillars of Eternity is the best thing since Baldurs Gate 2.
Thank you. It's good the money doesn't expire. I'll try selling a few cards.re how long - the money gets added to your steam wallet. It just sits there as long as the money you put into the account.
as to when to sell, sell when you want. the market sets the price so set a low value to sell fast.
Though as with some previous event cards, they did not vanish, they just changed to blank and did not work for creating badges any more. Come the next event and they start working again (some times).
Solution has been posted:
If this does not work they have posted a script to do it also:
- Login to your steam account in your preferred browser (Firefox, Chrome, etc.).
- Go to http://store.steampowered.com/app/253750
- Type SEARCH and hit ENTER.
- Enter code 1v7531
- Receive badge and 100XP.

This whole sale has been a disappointment...its literally the same games every day with maybe 2 "new" ones put in. lol
Today sale is the EXACT same games yesterday..plus one new one that was on a few days ago. Not sure wtf they are thinking, what happened to putting lots of old titles or new indie titles like in days past on sales?
Also, what is with the "scroll down for more recommendations"...they are the same games over and over. lol
Also, when you click "not interested"...they still show up.
It's still funny to me how people want to go back to flash and dailies, being forced to perpetually check in during the sale, etc. "Please try to manipulate me into spending money, giant corporation!" is what goes through my head.
I'm personally completely happy with the new format. Games went on sale, and I was able to peruse my wishlist, pick a dollar amount that I wanted to spend, and make my purchases when I had the time during the holidays. I've picked up The Banner Saga and Her Story so far, and tomorrow right before the sale ends, I might get The Black Watchmen depending on how I feel about the demo.

Some nagging at me still:
- Darkest Dungeon
- Subnautica
Two that don't sound that enjoyable to me (but not bad) but posts here seem to suggest:
- Rocket League
- Rebel Galaxy
Every 8 hours, and I don't know about you, but I was visiting family and outside of sleeping, had very little time to myself. I decided to engage with the people I was visiting instead of religiously browsing an online store three times a day.Yah because who has time to check in on steam every 12 hours with computers and smartphones being so rare...
I am well aware of why the sale is the way it is, and you missed the point entirely of my post. The thing is they are dead because of the steam refund policy now so it will never happen again.
So, the publisher not discounting a game as much is the fault of Valve? Logic checks out. At least you'd have a legitimate reason for not liking this sale, but the format of the sale, which is the subject of my post, is irrelevant to the prices a publisher chooses. No, it is about the discount. Several items on my wishlist were cheaper last year during a flash sale than they were this year. If it wasn't cheap enough then it really isn't now. I am guessing some of these items on sale this year would have been cheaper with flash and daily sales that they were.
I am cheap, I want the cheapest price, this sale does not provide that. If I know something was cheaper previously I will not buy it at a higher price.
It wasn't as if Steam was trying to nudge users toward the queue or anything. It's also not like you don't have a wishlist.one thing about sale being done this way, have no idea what's on sale at a good price without looking through a crapton of pages.
Thanks for the heads up. I grabbed a copy.I found a game called "The Desolate Hope" today in my queue. It is a sci-fi platformer/rpg/arcadeish (it blends multiple genres) game from the maker of the Five Nights at Freddy's game. Apparently this was before them. Played a bit of it, and it is quite interesting and even better it is FREE. Not sure if it is just free for the sale or if it is always free. It is nothing like FNAF, but you can see some of the same elements in this game that later were put into those games.
