frys has a sale on refurb'ed x52 this week $20. the reviews on newegg and some flightsim forums aren't that favorable (cheap construction, rubber used as friction material instead of tension, buttons and dials wearing out fast, bad vista driver support) If you do get one, you apparently have to download the vista drivers from the saitek site since the drivers on the cd only work for XP.

it's probably worth it at $20 but i would seriously balk at paying the standard retail. maybe the pro version is better made.

wish i had a game i played that used a stick&throttle, or i might pick one up.

Team Fortress 2 continues to be one of my favorite team play games. Very fun and a great value. Fast capture the flag action. If you didn't get the orange box originally, then this would be a great time to pick up TF2.
