Wow... Even though I already played these games in the past, I simply cannot resist buying Morrowind and Oblivion at these prices... See, this is exactly how piracy needs to be fought. When good games are available at such low prices, I cant justify pirating them... Steam really has something beautiful going here.. Sure, you cant "physically" have these games, but it's very convenient to be able to download them from the comfort of your home and it's cheaper too!

Fallout 3 is overpriced IMO. It's already an "old enough" game to cost $10-15 if it was at this price point I'd buy it too.... Oh well, good thing I already beat it and all of it's expansions in the past, and by the time I beat Morrowind and Oblivion, Fallout 3 is going to drop to $10 or so...

PS: I heard that Morrowind and Oblivion both have an issue with leveling.. for example in Morrowind you need to level "efficiently" otherwise points are wasted, and in Oblivion everything is scaled to your level which makes it pointless to explore hoping to find a high level enemy that would be a challenge to defeat... If anyone knows where I can download some good mods to eliminate these issues and make the game better please link me.

I bought both Elder Scroll games even though I have the original retail games anyway. I don't have the expansions and at this price it's not worth it to buy each separately. thanks

Fallout 3 has had a lot more DLC than the others, and the GOTY edition includes all of that. It's older, but the DLC isn't as old as the vanilla game and at $10-15 each you're saving a decent amount by getting all 4-5 packs for $25.

How is that true? Fallout 3 has... The Pitt, Mothership Zeta, Broken Steel, Point Lookout.

The Pitt is a joke.. Too short... Descent story though. The other DLC is actually very good. Cant say anything here...

Oblivion, has Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles.... Plus a myriad of other shorter DLC like extra items and small quests... I guess in the end it's still less than what's offered for Fallout, but not by much.

Also the Fallout 3 GOTY does not include the Pitt or Mothership Zeta... Didn't see it in the descrip. (Edit: Nvm, I was wrong, sorry - It does include everything)

Having Oblivion GOTY on Steam would be worth it just to get rid of my disk and securerom.

Do mods work with Oblivion on Steam? Does Oblivion Mod Manager?

Do expansion pacs work with Oblivion on Steam?

Well, it comes with all of the expansions, doesn't it?
Damnit. I already own it, but I keep seeing the video on that page and it makes me want to play it again.

Sorry I meant mods and not expansion packs. Whenever I install Oblivion its a real PITA between updates, expansion packs and mods. I don't go heavy on mods and usually just use QTP3 Redimized (installed with OBMM)

Tell me about it. It takes over an hour to get my Oblivion playable after each reinstall. Textures, some sounds, interface, and model mods, + all updates (official and unofficial), and I check for the latest version for all of the above. It's so worth it though

Wow! Really good prices. I bought Oblivion when it first came out, and then sold the game on Ebay, but it would be cool to play it again now that I have better hardware.

After playing Oblivion, the landscapes of Morrowind do look a bit barren and drab. It was a great game though. One problem is that it doesn't support widescreen natively, although you can edit the registry to sort of make it work.

I wouldn't say it's a high action game. It has its moments but its kind of an atmospheric experience with moments of action along the way. I like atmospheric stuff so that's ok. The thing I disliked the most about Bethesda games is they are very "busy" with the menus, tab etc. Go to Youtube and look at Bethesda games and it seems like half the time the menus are open on screen

In for Oblivion. My clan blew up over DDO a little while back, so this will let me waste a ton of time without needing anyone else's help for a dungeon crawl. I avoid a $15 per month charge in the bargain!

I bought Oblivion (despite having it on cd - I had an old Corsair rebate card with just enough left on it) but it was hard to resist Morrowind just because a lot of people really love that game - more than Oblivion.

However looking at all the videos of it on YouTube it looks pretty lame animation wise. People liked Half Life Source too but after playing all the other HL games and episodes all the way through HLS feels too primitive despite being a good game. I know if I get it it will become Steam clutter and I'll never play it.

Isn't DDO free to play now?
