Is Crysis worth playing? I know it has pretty nice graphics but is the game actually any good?
I remember playing the demo and I think it'd be fine for ~$7.

in for crysis....(even though I have warhead already)....debating on Street Fighter 4 though..don't own a console, anyone have it on pc..worth 10 bucks?
Easily worth $10 if you like fighting games. It's a great addition to the series.
I've been having a bunch of fun with Shadowgrounds. It's a mindless top-down shooter with a mediocre plot and terrible voice acting. The gameplay is a blast, though.
Actually bought the original Shadowgrounds from Stardock a few weeks ago. Will probably pick up the sequel (Shadowgrounds Survivor) from Steam.

I got both a couple months ago and was surprised how sucked into the game I got. I got to the last boss, but couldn't beat it. Haven't gone back to try for a couple weeks now and I won't start Survivor until I beat that boss. With all the recent Steam deals, I just don't know when that will be.
Does anyone know if the Steam version of Crysis ME has less severe or the same DRM as retail?
I see the note on the product page that "it may have some form of 3rd party DRM."
220m gt? it should run fine on medium settings at a decent res. just make sure to run in DX9 as that will give you several more fps. I hope you arent planing to run Crysis with a controller. anyway I would get a 360 controller since you know it will work fine on any game with controller support.Side note with a couple questions.
I have a new laptop with a Geforce 220M plus a C2D 2.53 Ghz. 4GB ram
Crysis max pack, will it run ok?
Also, what's the best PC game controller nowadays?

How's Half Life Source? That and LFD2 are the only Valve games I dont own. Does it do a good job of recreating HL? Arnt they making Black Mesa Source because HL:S sucked? for $2.50, I may do it anyways.
yeah medium DX9 should be no problem at all.Thanks. Here's the lappy

And hell no to Crysis with a controller
I just want to grab that Eidos pack since there's so many controller based games on it.
I'll grab the 360 controller too. Wired or sans wires do you reckon?
Thanks again

You have to buy a receiver if you go wireless. I never really saw the advantage to a wireless controller on a PC. You're within a couple of feet of the computer, not like you're trying to string wires across a living room.
It's a great controller though, I have the wired version. Plug and play with so many games now, no need to setup. I did prefer batman with the keyboard and mouse though. About the only game I really preferred the controller on was GTA IV.
I thought you were getting the Eidos pack that includes Batman? I never really use a controller but I absolutely had to for Batman. there were just too many keys to push at times and using the controller was so convenient.Really now? I never thought that Batman game would be k/m friendly. I'm definitely picking it up at some point though...I may wait until it drops below $30.
