Well, its a little like Knights of The Old Republic, but not quite. In my opinion, they spent plenty of time making a great story and deep characters, but not quite enough time on the actual gameplay itself. Its a poor mix of third person shooter and hack'n'slash sci-fi RPG. Like Doom 3 but with clunky shooting. I didnt care much for the action, but the story is so damn good it can easily be overlooked. For 5 bucks I highly encourage everyone to try it.

I'm debating Mass Effect. But I still have Dragon Age, Fallout 3, Batman AA and Bioshock to finish. In addition to having picked up L4D and TF2. Add that to my CS:S and WC3 playing I have no spare gaming time haha.

For $5 you should just get it now. It probably won't be that price until next year and by then you should already have played it.

It depends on if you do all the sidequsts or planets. You can skip all of them and beat it fairly quickly or do all of them and take many more hours.

Picked up Crysis, good lord it took nearly all day to install. 200kb/s downloads

Must have been a lot of people downloading it.

Would be nice if steam went with a p2p system, sorta like blizzard (but with controls so you don't rape your upload speeds).

It's been $7.49 for the whole sale I think. Pretty lame sale today imo. Everyone has CS:S, Morrowind is like 8 years old although still a good game, Trine has been on sale the whole time, Painkiller doesn't look worth it at all. RA3 is the only thing I'm remotely interested in.

OH kinda like Torchlight has been $9.99 the whole time and one day was $4.99..

It's not much but I still feel "ripped off" having paid more because I assumed it would not have a 1 day sale seeing as it was part of the whole big sale.

It's an interesting puzzler - if you like mario jumping type puzzle games - you'll like Trine.

Ok, finally got of my ass and am about to pull the trigger on a few games in my cart:

Star Wars: KOTOR - $4.99
Assassin's Creed: DC - $9.99
Ghostbusters - $6.79
Titan Quest Gold - $9.99

Anyone have thoughts? Good games/deals? I don't have much time to play games, but these looked decent enough to keep my interest for a while.
