You've missed plenty of great Bioshock Infinite/Xcom sales. Heck GMG just had Bioshock:Inf, came with Xcom, borderlands2, (and somehting else) for around $40, which still isn't the best deal there has been on it.

People need to learn to look at other things besides Steam.

I have difficulty purchasing off GMG. Something in the payment process would not let the transactions through. Pity as they often have great deals (that I sadly have to skip).

If you use Paypal on GMG, your paypal email account must be the same as your GMG email account. Stupid, but I guess it's one of their security measures.

Not true. My paypal email is different then the email I have setup with GMG and I always use paypal to checkout with them.

GMG is just finicky as fuck it seems for some reason with a lot of people and various payment options.

I think we're getting close. I ran accross a thread on the Steam forums that pointed out that those "mystery cards" have been evolving over the past few days. I hadn't even noticed, but yes the physical appearance of the card had changed (it was just grey, now it's got dashes and squiggly lines).

If these end up being something like 25% off Left for Dead 2 and 33% off Portal, I'm going to be very upset. :hmm:

Few games I do want, though I personally don't see a big patch as indicative of anything. They've been having big patches every couple weeks since that worthless "Big Picture" update or whatever it was.

There is nothing excessive about CoH. It's a widely known abbreviation for Company of Heroes, and I say that as someone who has never played the series.

Well, I start having the same issue with the abbreviations. My favorite is MW2, which lately is meant to be Modern Warfare 2, but I still see it as MechWarrior 2....

The good thing about waiting, is that I've played a bunch of games that have just been sitting in my list. With the sale coming, I don't want to buy anything new now, so have been playing games like Fallout Tactics.

For those wanting Max Payne 3 and Bioshock Infinite - two of the biggest duds I've bought this year. MP3 is 80% cutscenes, literally around every corner, and while it has bullet time it just isn't fun like the two previous games. BI lost me after 12 hours; pretty as hell, interesting locale, and the most generic gunplay and fighting ever. Gone are the little touches like hacking machines; it's all gunplay with pretty generic plasmids too.

I hope Prison Architect goes on sale, because $30 seems like a lot. Also planning on picking up any $1.25 games that have Steam Cards.

That's a very selfish point of view. There are going to be plenty of gamers just starting out with the PC as a platform, and these sales are great for them. I still enjoy the sales because I don't go crazy every six months; there's always at least one fresh deal for me.

With that said, I wish they'd bring back the ridiculous publisher packs. Those have been toned down significantly over the last year.

There are a lot of people selling their AMD "Never Settle" GPU game bundle codes on eBay for around $20, which usually include Bioshock Infinite, Crysis 3, Far Cry 3, and/or Tomb Raider, maybe a couple others. That's probably still going to be the cheapest way of getting any of those (particularly Bioshock) for a while yet.

Clicked restart to update, and shortly after my computer was frozen, and eventually bluescreened (the first time this happens after I built it back in October).

Rebooted, and when I fired it up Steam won't load and just sit there at 'Connecting Steam account...."

Anybody else having a problem connecting? I'm guessing I'll have to reinstall Steam.
