Anyone know if Grey Goo is worth it? I'm a big RTS fan, but I've heard the campaign is lackluster. Is the multiplayer scene worth it?

Sadly, it is not worth it, at this price point. Just too many things wrong with it.
The game should be $10.

If you like RTS games then I would highly recommend the Homeworld Remastered Collection. They did a massive overhaul of the entire game and it has one heck of a story.

Bagged out! Should keep my little free-time busy.

Cities: Skylines
Pandora: Complete Edition
King's Bounty: Platinum
Tropico 4 Collector's Bundle
Battlestations Collection (ROW)
Valiant Hearts
Banished
ENSLAVED™: Odyssey to the West™ Premium Edition (Never even heard of it! Can't believe such quality when un-noticed!!)

Definitely all RTS fans should play Homeworld Remastered if they have never played it before, its genre defining.

Tempted...I generally am not a big RTS fan - I'll admit I get frustrated easily now that I don't have as much time to play...how's this one rank re: difficulty level/learning curve? Good single player campaign?

The remastered versions are easier than the originals partly because the interface is improved and they added some quality of life updates like autoharvest. I'm biased but I think the difficulty is just enough to be engaging without being overly frustrating and yes, the single player campaign is pretty much what made the game great.

Any Total War fans in the house?
Is Attila worth picking up considering I loved Shogun 2 but hated Rome 2?

I don't remember it being like the remastered version, with fleets being sized dependant on how big your fleet is. The cryo tray mission REQUIRED me to gimp my forces before starting it, or nearly all of the trays got destroyed before I could hardly do anything. I'm NOT a fan of having to know exactly what the next mission will be, or how many units to throw away so I don't get swamped automatically... Homeworld Remastered was a big dud for me.

Anyone played The Escapists? Any good? Hoping for a decent sale on it.

It's gotten good reviews, I'm hoping for a 75% off on it soon.

----------------------!

Picked up Valkyria Chronicles and have put 12 hours into it so far. For $5 (yesterday's sale), it's a steal. The story is typical JRPG; some people like that stuff, I play for the party building and strategy aspects. It's kind of like XCom, but better imo - you move real time (like a 3rd person shooter), and if you move within the range of an enemy, they will fire upon you as you continue to move; sort of a real time Overwatch (but only certain classes, not snipers for example).

Multiple character positioning bonuses (if X likes Y and is near them when Y fires, then X will fire for free). Pretty deep combat strategy; far deeper than XCom imo. And you get a tank as part of your forces, with multiple firing modes of course.

Valkyria Chronicles is definitely worth it, I sank a lot of hours into it, nearly beat it but the last bunch of missions are HARDCORE. It does require some grinding the repeatable missions for XP/$ to upgrade your squad.

Also got Outcast 1.1, I own the original from 1999 but back then I was overwhelmed by the world presented and didn't get too far. But I could see it was a genre defining game, open world, action, adventure.

And Metro LL Redux, enjoyed 2033 but never got around to playing LL!

So many games, so little time...

The game is completely pointless and a waste of time. My team is at level 525 and we've got jack sh!t for cards. The unlocks are no different or better than the sales they already have. It's a big time sync for nothing.

Don't bother playing it other then when you first join and log in once in awhile to increase the auto attacker and elements.

Unless you are a botter it's kinda pointless otherwise and steam is letting the script kiddies run rampart on the forums with them right now.

Otherwise I did get 3 cards yesterday but for whatever reason people are not getting them today.

Monster Game is pointless. Used AutoIT and macros to level overnight and no extra cards.

Only picked up one game so far, Valkyria Chronicles @ 75% off for a total of $4.99 was a great buy. I haven't played it yet but it looks fun and will probably be next on my list.

I grabbed Valkyria and Homeworld. The Monster Game is stupid, but it runs in the background and it will, in theory, provide up to four free cards. Worth leaving running imo.

I haven't gotten a single card yet from this second round of clicker games, and it's been almost 20 hours.

I wonder if LOTR: War in the North is similar to The Two Towers on PS2, classic hack n slash with fixed camera, I had a lot of fun with that one.

Also what about Wickland. It's only .99 cents but pointless if no one is online.

As far as I can tell you have to join a new game for it to show but I was only able to get one and it said I should had gotten more.

A lot of people are having this issue.

Stay in the game longer to up levels, upping your badge. Start new games for cards. But you can only get 4 card drops anyway, and it's a long sale...

So how much did you invest in all those titles? Agree about HW remastered. Btw, I purchased Banished a few months ago based upon the reviews. Unfortunately, I've played it very little. This is an instance where the new Steam refund policy would have benefitted me personally. I just could not get into it. Here's hoping that you enjoy it more than I ...

I've only picked up the Metro Redux bundle so far. I already own Metro 2033 (but haven't played it), and I don't own, nor have I played, Metro LL. This was one of those purchases that I'll probably not play anytime soon, but I don't figure it'll get much cheaper before I eventually do.

Played some This War of Mine last night. That game is great. Definitely worth picking up.

Dragon Age Inquisition is on sale for 50% off today @ Origin. Not sure if that is a great sale or not compared to past prices, but it's a great game.

I played this on the 360, it's pretty fun if you play co-op. It has some rough edges but definitely worth it if you have a friend or two to play through the campaign with.
