I think I should pick up rocksmith. I'm planning on getting an acoustic guitar with a pick up. Used to play a bit in college but completely forgot everything.

Glad you posted this. I want to do re-learn as well. It's been too long and I used to love to play. Was eyeballing an inexpensive Fender Rogue at the flea market over the weekend and almost impulse bought it. My researcher side took over and I started google-ing. Mistake. I should have just bought the darn thing instead of analyzing everything to death.

Buying the rocksmith software will be the catalyst. I have a winter project now. Thanks

Is tale of z and digease any good ? How about orc of men ?

Disgaea? I played it original back on my Playstation 2 and enjoyed it. Disgaea PC seems to be a port of the original. The turn based tactical combat was good and the story was fun, nothing serious. It has a very long gameplay if you plan on maxing out all your weapons. I think I put in close to 400 hours.

The remaster generation trucks on with another bundle of lauded games making their way to Xbox One and PlayStation 4. 2K has confirmed the rumored BioShock: The Collection for release later this year.

The package includes all three games (BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite) as well as all of the single-player DLC. BioShock 2 multiplayer won’t be making the jump to current-gen.

The full bundle includes:

BioShock with director’s commentary from Ken Levine, a virtual museum of discarded concepts, and challenge rooms
BioShock 2 with Minerva’s Den and Protector Trials
BioShock Infinite with Columbia’s Finest pack, Clash in the Clouds, and both parts of the Burial at Sea story

The PC version will include all three games, but only the first two will be remastered. BioShock Infinite already works well on high-end machines. If you already own BioShock, BioShock 2, and/or Minerva's Den, you'll get the upgraded versions free.

The console versions will run at 1080p and 60 frames per second. BioShock: The Collection will be out for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on September 13. The bundle is priced at $59.99.

Might be worth grabbing the current versions while the sale is going on.

I've got the original Bioshock on CD, anyone know if you can activate that on steam or not before I go digging for it?

Edit: Just tried the key, wouldn't take.

Oh, that's nice to see that we'll get upgraded copies for free! I'll admit that Bioshock Infinite's fancier graphics have spoiled me when I see the original two games, and I'd like to see it with a bit more splendor.

I've started 1 but never touched 2. Is PC version getting these free upgrades?

I enjoyed Euro Truck Sim 2 so I kind of wanna try a bus game. Checked OMSI2 on Steam and there is no discount at all. I thought every single game is on sale. Bus Sim 16 is slightly discounted but the reviews are mixed.

Yea I still haven't bought a guitar yet. I was reading how well an acoustic would work with rocksmith. Most of them don't come with a pickup installed unless you get an electro acoustic.

I still have to buy rocksmith and the guitar, cables, and a pickup.

I'm wondering the same thing. I just started Bioshock 1 this week. I'm 3 hours in and wondering why in the hell I waited so long to play it. I'm really enjoying it.

I love these sales every summer but damn I always buy more games than I have time to play. My back-log is HUGE.

I probably have played no more than 20% of what I have and I still buy a few whenever there's a big sale in Steam or gog. I guess we are hoarders.

Played a campaign of napoleon total war and enjoyed it, downloaded total war mod and played a campaign and enjoyed it although not as much. Will probably try another full conversion mod next, but already got my $7.49 out of it.

Bought Rust today for $9.99 and had a blast. Playing modded servers so you can kinda hop right in and have some success. Looking for teammates though!

It's fun and games until you get raided and wake up naked for the 4th time in a row.

I bought Subnautica, pretty fun game, but it's making me a bit nauseous after awhile of play...

I also picked up Dragon Ball Z Xenoverse. I wanted it when it came out, but couldn't justify the higher price. Now it's a little over $12, so it's mine! I'm revisiting my childhood with this game, and it's actually really fun. Runs great on my Alienware Alpha - Perfect for couch play.

It is a great game. The sequel didn't hold my attention for very long but the first game is an all-time classic.

If you haven't bought it yet, PM me your Steam profile link. I've had a copy (with DLC) sitting in my inventory for a long time. I can gift it to you.

Yeah, if you like TD at all, DG is top tier. I think I also like 1 better than 2, but both are good.

Defense Grid 1 has more interesting "shape the path" maps than 2. 2's most interesting maps are the ones where new paths open mid-game, either automatically or because you paid to change the map, but 2 doesn't have anything on par with 1's final map.

Picked up American Truck Simulator, could have waited longer to save a few more bucks, but I just get it now to show support for the developer. Also got the Learn Japanese RPG game, gotta learn some Japanese in order to better enjoy those anime porn games, right? lol
