Well... I've been playin a litle since yesterday, and so far I am no very impressed. Yes the loot is great, and the guns are very interesting. I love the cartoony gfx style.. Very unique and different from anything I played so far.
But this is where the pros end. Everything else is the cons.
Enemies respawn... Nice the 1st few times, extremely annoying every time afterward.
Quests extremely uninspired and boring.
I suppose when you have friends in RL that are willing to play this game with you it's one thing.. But random PUGS don't really work. Some people joined my game and while they absolutely slaughtered everything in their path, it was boring because they didn't reply to any of my messages, didn't do my quests unless they were in the way, and rushed through everything not allowing me to check out the scenery or read the description of the quest I was doing. I was just mindlessly following these folks picking up loot they left behind. I was really surprised that they weren't picking stuff up when I finally realized that bosses that were already killed seem to ALWAYS drop the same crap! That is ultra lame. Couldn't they add some variety so people can farm these?
Despite the fact that ammo seems plentiful, it actually runs out extremely fast and I constantly find myself out of ammo. This is ridiculous because this is probably the first game ever where I am running out of ammo. I am a big time hoarder and I use ammo very sparingly and carefully, but here there is just no way to save ammo...
Some enemies are way too tough. I kept fighting these.. muscular masked freaks, and despite having pumped just about all ammo I had into them, they still lived and eventually killed me two times almost in a row...
Vehicle control is absolutely horrific. I never played a game where vehicle control would be this bad.. WTF? Was it really so damn hard for the devs to do something about this?
If anyone wants to play, let me know. I am still far from giving up on this game completely, as of now.
