Picked up the new Master of Orion. I avoided it at release, but honestly can say it isn't half bad. It seems a little slower than MOO2, but the play is very similar. I also had that "one more turn" moment multiple times, you know "Heading to the in-laws for Christmas Eve", "Christmas morning watching the kids open gifts", and "20 people are coming over to eat, and you have to cook". If I like playing it enough that I get in trouble with the wife, it's a good enough game for me.

The racing ruined Rage for me... never made much progress with after dealing with the first race.

Racing is only required three times, and one of those is a time trial with no opponents. The last race is also a piece of cake. So you're probably looking at ten minutes total game time.

You don't need to do other races unless you want to fully upgrade all of your cars.

I bought Tom Clancy's The Division, but returned it after the first mission. The visuals are amazing though.

Thankfully I got a refund of Ryse

I tried playing that a year ago. One of those games that was so cheap I could not pass down but ended up being boring to me. I feel the same way though with Assassins Creed. Just feels like a game where I spend too much timing learning keyboard combinations during certain times of the game while you watch perfect opportunities for actual game play pass by through computer simulation.

It would be nice if Steam would allow you to sort your wishlist by positivity levels of other players' reviews. I had 410 on my wishlist; pared it down to 392 by eliminating some of the ones with negative reviews, but I have to manually click to each store page to see them. Or if there is a way to do this from your wishlist, I have not figured it out.

What I'd like in the Wishlist feature is the ability to note down what price I've concluded I'd be prepared to buy the title at. Steam could even let you know if a sale title is now below your set 'threshold price'.

Sometimes I see something interesting on sale, but feel its still too pricey for me. I don't want to later forget what reservations I had about it and end up buying it for more than the price I rejected it at!

(I don't trust 'future me' - that guy is prone to bad impulse decisions)

Picked up Salt and Sanctuary. Played it for a few hours before And so far I'm having a blast. It's basically a 2-d version of Dark Souls

Biggest buy for me was FSX. Flight sims are not for everybody, but for $10 and all the free addons available, not a bad deal for a ten year old video game.

my cousin just got Steam this summer. He noticed all the cool stuff on sale but he's too dumb to realize he cant play everything. I tried explaining hardware requirements to him. He didnt listen.
He's bugged me about 30 times to find out if he can play a particular title or not.
I may have to shoot him.

While not available on Steam itself, you can import your steam wishlist to www.isthereanydeal.com and you can set that up to notify you when it reaches a threshold price
