I know we have had this disagreement before but I still believe I saw better deals in the flash sales and I confirmed it with historical pricing on a few games. Also was is it really that hard to look at your phone once every 8 hours? It gave me something to look forward to three times a day instead of check it once and forget it.

Yes it is because during the holidays I'm quite likely to not be checking steam for sales that often. I don't use my phone for that and even if I did, you can be busy and not caring about games. If you miss a flash sale you wait until the end of the sale anyway. I will grant that it seems like the deals aren't as good as they once were but we're also seeing more deals quicker for various reasons.

I'm debating picking up Ark, Doom and BF1. Trying to decide if I should upgrade my rig first before getting anything else though. It's been months since I've played a video game. Oh, thinking about getting Overwatch too.

If you play casual then play the xbox version imo. You will get killed alot and rage alot in the PC version

30-40 fps is pretty normal for multiplayer. It is going to be highly dependent on the server and how long it has been since the last restart.

are you sure? every server I go into it's the same. Around 30-40ish FPS. When I'm in vehicle I get like 20ish ;_;
I have no idea why.

Summer and winter sales tend to have weaker deals where some of the others have better deals.

Another problem is they just had another sale a little bit ago thus the prices won't be super low because of that.

I'm not one to complain about sales but this one takes the cake for the being the worst, I've seen a lot of games have much deeper discounts years ago, I guess you got to take inflation into account but the days of 75% seem to be gone.

Just checked and out of 35 items on my wishlist only one is at it's lowest point ever. Most of them have been several dollars lower in the last couple months either on steam or other sites.
