I just found out the game I bought yesterday only works if you are logged into Steam.

Deal sucks this year and the year before all the good games are not low enufff. The devs are tight as hell this year. Maybe cuz Trump and Brexit.

Steam's down all over - has been for several hours now.

Comcast is also having issues across the US today, so it's probably Backhoe fade or DNS issue . . .

The fact that Steam still faceplants daily during the holiday sales is pathetic. Leverage the cloud to meet demand ahead of time. I'm sure they'd more than make up the rental prices with the extra sales they'd gather from a working site.

The only things that caught my eye were Deus Ex and Quake 1... Ya, Quake 1. Never played Quake 1 or Quake 2 beyond the demos.

LoGII was part of a Humble Bundle a few weeks ago. It was in the beginning tier meaning you could have nabbed it for $1 for a Steam copy. I know that doesn't help you now, but you might search around a bit....I bet lots of people have extra copies.

I think the 2nd one got hammered for poor performance issues from the port to PC from console. I dont think its from bad gameplay.

All the Shadowrun games are on sale and if you havent played them, you are REALLY missing out.
Excellent stories and solid gameplay. Just be aware that Shadowrun: Boston is made by a different company and it stinks. The game is online-only and it just isnt much fun.
