Between Newegg, Zipzoomfly, and pcconnection, who has the best policy on dead pixels?
I game more than anything else on my computer, mostly FPS games, fast action. I've never owned an LCD monitor. Currently I have a 19" NEC CRT that I got for like $80 a while back, bought it as a backup, and my old Samsung 900NF CRT crapped out on me, thought it was a great monitor while it worked.
My CRT produces a lot of heat I believe, and makes my room hotter, and takes up lots of space on my desktop. So I'm all for the benefits of an LCD, but I'm just unsure if I'll be pleased with that being my only monitor (as I don't plan on having more than 1) to game on, browse websites, watch movies, etc.
