That's breakfast this morning. Anyone else a fan? I've been eating them a lot lately. Just butter, and Celtic sea salt hand gathered by the Gauls off the Bretagne coast. That part's important :^D
Seriously though, it's good stuff. The extra cook time is worth it for the firm grain, and nutty flavor. Currently using Bobs Red Mill, but I don't think it makes a difference. I got some Millville oats from Aldi yesteerday, and was reading the label. On the front it says 40g of whole grain per serving, guaranteed! WTF does that even mean?! While I'm glad they didn't pack rocks in with my oats, I don't think that needed to be specified. Assholes... :^D
