I hope the Police get to her and give her the news before media does. Imagine being told your husband/ father is dead by a reporter with a camera shoved in your face..

Sadly, it'll probably crop up.

I mean that the media shouldn't be releasing this info to the public until his family has been notified. Not even the military will tell the public until the family knows first. I don't care how "breaking" the news is, family comes first. Shame on the media.

My dad was a fan too, but I don't think he's ruined by this news.

I have met Steve at Australia Zoo last year(GF insisted that we go there, I'm glad we did), I know what a top bloke he is...but with his line of work it was bound to happen, still it is very sad.
You are very uncool. It's not nice to talk poorly of dead people. I hope you get a ban seeing how this is your second nasty statement in this thread. :thumbsdown:Originally posted by: EyeMWing
This weekend the animal kingdom celebrates a rare victory in their war against humanity. The war criminal Steve Irwin was finally, after thousands of assassination attempts, killed by a naval officer. Irwin was wanted on hundreds of counts of torture, and is known to operate a concentration camp. Camp operations are unlikely to be severely damaged.

I'm definitely saddened. I was just making light of the typo (dad = day).
RIP, but to me this was natural selection. You're not going to see me petting stingrays anytime soon."
