Steve Irwin "Croc Hunter" is dead

I was deeply sadden because I thoroughly enjoyed watching his work and praised his efforts in raising awareness for these animals... but honestly I wasn't surprised when I heard the news. Dealing with things as uncontrollable and unpredictable as wildlife, you just never know.

Condolences to his family, co-workers, and friends.

I read that. She acts like he just jumped on crocs for entertainment and compared it whipping tigers with a whip like you would see at a circus :roll:. Everytime I saw him wrestling a croc it was to give it some sort of medical treatment or to transport it to another location for its own safety.

Not only that, but Steve always tried to educate people to respect such animals, not to fear them. It was never his goal to make people afraid of wildlife as she would seem to indicate.

and Steve would most likely find that humorous. fercripessakes, he asked for his death, be it grisly or not, to be shown to everyone if it had been filmed. this is not your ordinary pussified guy who would be offended over a halloween costume.

I believe Jay Leno dedicated the Tonight Show to Irwin.
Toby Rand, Australian contestant on RockStar Supernova, dedicated his performance last night to Irwin.
